I stayed in this hotel together with my mum for one week. We had a junior suite, which had a huge bathroom and a lovely roof terrace with a view over the small patio garden. The beds were very hard but I do not fault the hotel for that as it seems to be the same everywhere in southern Europe. There is a saftey deposite box available in each room (free of charge) The hotel itself is small and the staff very polite and helpful.
Breakfast was served on the terrace every morning; plenty of choice and a lovely view. Everything was kept spotless (except for the ledge behind the bath tub which was a bit moldy) The gardener is always hard at work which shows because the garden's lovely. The hotel's ideally located although for people with a disability it may be difficult to navigate the stairs & slopes. Burriana beach & Nerja town centre are all withing walking distance, and there's plenty of parking space nearby.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

We spend a whole week at this magnificent place and finally even we don't want to leave. Nothing can be compared with the the wonderful view over the Mediterranean and the near Burriana's Beach. We were booked "Suite del Mar" for 5 nights ( which I think is the best one in the hotel - with a private terrace on the rock's edge with a wonderful sea view ) and a Special Suite ( having balcony with a sea view ) for the rest 2 days.
Due to the landscape, there have a stairs to the see ( separated by terraces on different levels ), which may be difficult for someone, but the hotel also have perfect grass terrace with sunbeds, pool and external jacuzzi, so you can spend a good time without having to go downstairs.
The service is on a high level ( I love hotels with fried eggs for a breakfast ), the staff is very friendly and helpful. Additionally we had the opportunity to join to the famous BBQ party of the owner, which is great - live guitar music and songs from a different countries.

My wife and I have recently returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel and without doubt it is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived we were taken to our room (108)where everything was explained to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was from 9-10.30 however on 2 days we were leaving early, this was no problem as they arranged an early breakfast for us. We will definitely be returning to Nerja and without doubt will be staying at this hotel.

We stayed here for 11 nights in June/July 2010 and can only say it was the most perfect holiday. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the room (room 109) was lovely, with a fab jacuzzi bathroom and a roof terrace with a view down Burriana Beach. The hotel is in a perfect situation, on the cliffs over the beach, with great views from the gardens and breakfast terrace. There are 130 steps down to the beach, which of course means 130 steps up from the beach at the end of the day (feels more like 260 then, phew!). There are lots of lovely little terraces on the way, though, so you can sit and catch your breath so that you don't arrive in the garden looking worn out! All in all, we heartily recommend it.
