There are very few hotels that make your jaw drop as soon as you approach your room. This was one. We had corner room on ground floor facing the garden with a fantastic view of Mediterranean practically from our front door. Room was large and spacious- well stocked and clean. Wireless internet signal was strong. Gardens were immaculate. Breakfast spread was enormous. The lift to beach below was a great help. Location is very nice - not just for scenery- but also in terms of access to bus stop (15 minute walk) and Balcon de Europa (15 min walk again). Front desk staff was very helpful and cheerful. Most spoke good English.

We had a kind of adventure wherein we left our jackets in the bus from malaga that was headed to nerja caves. Front office staff tried for 30 minutes to talk to ALSA (unsuccessfully) and then advised me to go to bus stop and wait for return of bus from Nerja. I did and found my jackets. I really appreciated their effort and concern and this and other instances in terms of suggestions on sightseeing, restaurants and even access to pharmacy when we needed it.

Lastly- I initially booked it through an online website-but realized that it was listed as available for only for occupancy of two and not three occupants. I was going to cancel it. Then I called the Parador itself and they said that can accommodate three guests (room was very spacious anyway). So I cancelled third party reservation and booked it directly with them and got a slightly better rate.

Overall a great experience of a Parador.

the atttention paid to my potatoe allergy was fantastic. Any dishes that contained potatoes were replaced with appropriate dishes. I enjoyed the food and was not made feel an nusiance. It was their pleasure to accomadate me. They are wonderful. The Parador is wonderful

We always return here because it's in a great location on the beach. We usually come during the off season and stay in a suite. It's not unreasonably expensive, and with two large rooms and whirlpool, it's a bit like being in your own beach house. We watch the sunrise on the sea and go to sleep at night with the sound of the tide. There is also a large balcony. Breakfast is included and is very good and you can eat on the terrace overlooking the sea. Our only complaint is that, at times, there is a really bad smell in the room, like the plumbing needs to be overhauled. I don't know if any other rooms had this issue.

This was our third Parador in almost as many days and the most enjoyable. It's spectacular setting above the beach is wonderful and the lift down makes you feel that you're staying somewhere a little special. The buiding itself is nothing remarkable, modern and functional, but that doesn't matter here. A lovely room with balcony overlooking the garden. Very comfortable and roomy with good bathroom. The staff were the most friendly we encountered and the restaurant was also good. The evening meal gave plenty of choice but breakfast was the best; an enormous variety of everything you could possibly want. You wouldn't need to eat again until the evening! The gardens around the pool make for very pleasant surroundings (the pool was closed, I'm not sure why as the weather was more than warm enough) but we weren't there long enough for that to be a problem. I'd certainly go back to this parador again, it was also extremely good value.
