I lived in Nerja for ten years and i know all the hotels, since coming back to the UK i have always stayed at this hotel. I have friends and family that work at the hotel and i promise for the price its great value for money, ive seen the kitchens spotless and the train (known locally as the wally trolley ) picks up and drops off for a very cheap price to get to the balcon. please make a point of getting to know the staff they are a fantastic bunch. loved the flamenca nights really lovely bonus. Recommend book direct with the hotel and ask to stop in the annexx they are the better rooms

Went for a getaway break for husband's 50th (in denial) and it was everything we hoped & expected. Nerja a wonderful, relatively unspoilt Spanish town, clean beaches, friendly bars & restaurants, great Tapas!
Hotel - Room was basic, small (had paid for upgrade to double so a little dissapointed) and had seen better days, can see how some people might complain and tea making facilities would have been nice but adequate for our needs, no complaints. Bed comfortable & clean, water always hot. Great location, quiet and a pleasant stroll to the beach or old town. Inviting reception, nice traditional feel to public spaces. Staff very happy and helpful, could not fault them. Food ok, (most reviews seem to think it was great but I wouldn't go that far!) veggie option had to be pre-ordered so if you were not sure if you would be eating in and didn't book then it was very limited (coffee terrible!) Again, very good value for what we paid, couldn't stay at home for that money (travelled with Thomson, rep very approachable). Would have no hesitation to recommend as long as you are realistic about getting what you pay for you would be more than happy.

we were there for a week 15 jan to 22 jan rooms rather small but me and husband are 6 footers we didnt know there was bigger rooms .food fantastic. we ate in every night. hotel a bit out of pubs and resaraunts .buget for taxi. staff in hotel excellent nothing a problem .bar price very good. we would go back there again.thankyou villa flamenca for still showing us your friendly face .to all ladies take a hair dryer

My wife & I were in the Villa Flamenca in Dec. We found the hotel had a traditional Spanish feel to it. The rooms & balconies were a bit small, but ample for a couple. Air-con/heater worked well (remote control), Towels are changed daily,Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Food is good & varied, location is good, Just a short walk from the village etc. biriana beach is a short walk away but down a steep hill,(ok going but heavy comming back).
The Hotel staff were always polite & helpfull. Nerja is a quiet place very traditional, narrow streets, (mostly one-way for traffic), people live work there, did'nt see any big disco's etc.
Overall a nice holiday, would definately go back.
