These apartments are great if you want self catering accomodation. They are basic in terms of the staff presence on site, with no reception area at the apartments, in fact it is like a block of self contained apartments. The apartments are however managed by an office located 500 metres away, here you pick up your key and obtain the key for the safety deposit box.

Myself & my Mum stayed for four nights, opting to pay 50 euros extra for a sea view terrace. This is exactly what we got. We had a huge terrace, which easier fit two sunloungers & a table with four chairs, with ample room to spare. We also had an excellent view of the sea. The majorirty of the apartments have a sea view, with the apartment block being located opposite the beach. However, it would be safer to request this when booking if you really want a sea view.

I would say these apartments are idealy suited for couples and families with older children. There is a pool, on the roof terrace but this is very small, not big enough to swim lengths in. I would suggest that it may not be suitable for families with young children as of the location of the pool, however the beach opposite & would be a more suitable option. The pool area had excellent views over the beach and sea, being a real sun trap and was surpising deserved most of the time.

The apartment itself had everything needed for a self catering holiday. The kitchen was equipped with a 2 ring hob (although no oven), toaster, kettle, mirocwave and washing machine. It was equipped with crockery, cutlery, pans etc & even had clean tea towels for use. Our apartment was a one bed, with a separate room with two twin beds. The lounge had a sofa bed, coffee table & dining table with four chairs. There is also a TV, but we did not use this, however it did work & had satelite channels. The apartments were clean on arrival but we did not have our bed sheets or towels changed during our stay. They may be changed weekly, but we were unsure of this. But if you are fussed about this you have the washing machine to use. Finally, there is a safety deposit box in the bedroom, this was 2 euros a day & could be sorted at the local apartment management office.

The location as mentioned was perfect for the beach (directly opposite). This beach is really nice, with lots of bars and restaruants located there. The apartments were no more than a 10 minute walk from the town centre of Nerja. The walk is up a very steep path, not ideal for the elderly or families with buggies however this was fine for us. The atmosphere around the apartments and in Nerja was very pleasant & chilled, traditional spanish, which thankfully mostly neglected the bars & restaurants catering for the real English tastes e,g English meals, TV showing of Eastenders, Only Fool & Horses etc!. Finally, the supermarket is a short walk from the apartments and is well equipped.

I will definately be staying here again & suggest others to consider it if looking for self catering in Nerja.

Tripadvisor site is very misleading for this property as there is a picture of a swimming pool. We booked a week with our young children on this basis, however, when we arrived we found that there was no pool. On further investigation, it seems that the pool pictured is at the Apartments Burriana Beach which is a completely separate property. Luckily the apartments are just across a road from the beach. Wasn't the cleanest and we had problems with the air con and TV. Not great value for money - we wished we'd gone for one of the cheaper options (with pool).
