Stayed for 4 nights and found aspects of this hostal inadequate. a very small balcony with a back view of neighbours houses, a fridge that didn't work properly, very worn hard towels and outer bedcovers and cushions stained from previous residents. On the plus side it was very central and owners were plesant but didn't accept visa card.

Easy to find - we caught bus from Malaga. Perfect location, especially for going out in the evenings; everything easy and safe to walk to... A silent fridge in room - very handy. Good aircon, which we needed at night in September! Rooms cleaned while we ate scrumptious breakfast on roof terrace; views in one direction of the sea and of the mountains on the other. Our French hosts were happy to sort out English TV channels, gave great suggestions for restaurants, places to buy things, and directed us to the best flamenco show in town. Also let us practise our French with them! Altogether a wonderful trip - relaxing and enjoyable (with wifi if you want it). Excellent value - highly recommended.

The genuine hospitality of Clara and Roberto has to be experienced to be believed! Clean, cool rooms (air-con AND ceiling fan), tastefully furnished with digital TV, refrigerator and daily maid service thrown in would have been value enough but the breakfasts! Oh the breakfasts! Freshly pressed orange juice, breads, jamon y queso, home-made confiture, a dish of frsh fruit - and as much freshly-made coffe as you can drink, and all for only six Euros pp. And all savoured on a flower-decked rooftop terrace with stunning mountain and sea views. The terrace is also an excellent spot in the evening to savour the sight and sounds of the town over a bottle of wine. We have never stayed anywhere which has offered such a friendly and welcoming standard of service. Thank you, thank you to all of you Tripadvisor users who recommended it - we would habe missed out on awonderful week. We will definitely be back!

A great place to stay in Nerja. Been there twice in the last year. Lovely rooms, imaginatively decorated with artwork painted by the owner, small "balconette", spotlessly clean everywhere, satellite tv, fridge, safe in room, air conditioning, wifi.
The owners do a lovely breakfast on the rooftop terrace for €6 pp, worth it for the location, the early morning hospitality of Roberto and especially his killer cafe con leche! Fresh bread, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, ham and cheese, jams......yummy.
Great central location near Balcon de Europa and Playa El Salon.
The owners are so hospitable and helpful, I cannot recommend this boutique style hotel highly enough.
Try it, you won't be disappointed.
