“Fantastic Location, Friendly comfortable Hotel”

I just love this hotel, and am reviewing my last holiday there, back in October 2011. I have been 3 times before and just love the area. the hotel is in a prime location at the train station. we used this nightly to get into Fuengirola, to sit and relax in the beautiful Andulucian streets in the evening. the hotel is spotless and kept to a good standard. The food, this time, was not as good as on the. 3 occasions I have been before, but was fine, though slightly disappointed at this. the hotel has little entertainment out of season..apart from bingo and dancing for the older Spanish guests. ow ever, this is a fab wee hotel and I'm glad to say Ihave just booked a wee holiday early in the summer, this will be my 4 th time.cant wait !

“Great hotel in ideal location”

Recently stayed in this hotel for a short break, it's location is perfect near to the railway station which is a direct link to the airport. Also ideal for travelling to other places along the coast.
The staff were lovely, polite, friendly and very helpful. The food was great, plenty of choice and the dining room was always clean and bright.
The rooms were spacious cleaned daily and digital tv a bonus rather than just CCN and BBC news and awful german stations!! We had a front sea view room which was perfect.
For the price we paid per night this was exceptional value for money and I would definately stay again and recommend highly for an out of peak seaason break in the glorious sunshine.

Room Tip: Ask for 6th floor and above on front side for great views.

“Charming Hotel in Quiet Area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

This is a traditional style hotel in an excellent location next to the train station. The rooms are large with brightly painted wooden furniture, spotlessly clean and with a large balcony - ask for the west side if you want sun. Balconies are arranged so that everyone gets a view. Toiletries are regularly replenished - no need to buy and the fridge is welcome although a bit inefficient. Food is aimed at the Spanish guests, no problem for us as we love Spanish food, especially the thick soups. All is good quality and a good variety to choose from. Staff are cheerful and friendly as are the spanish pensioners - a smile and a "buenos dias" goes a long way! The area is quiet and very friendly - drivers stop at crossings and wave you cheerfully across, whereas in Fuengirola they'll try to run you down! Although the address is Fuengirola, the 2 train stops difference lead to a total difference in character. This is Torreblanca, no disco bars that we saw but friendly local bars and restaurants with reasonably priced drinks and food - the hotel bar was very reasonable also. The pools and gardens are superb. Three pools, if you include the children's. Well kept large lawns ensure everyone has somewhere to soak up the sun. The public transport allows you plenty to do if the weather is poor, you can walk miles in either direction and if you're tired just get the bus or train back. you need the bus to get to Benalmadena Costa as the train station is inland. The once separate village of Los Boliches is a short stroll away. Explore the old part with its narrow streets and large selection of shops and bars. Close by there are several little watering holes and a very good local style restaurant on the corner on the sea front. No for those who want young and lively nor for children with fussy appetites but we will return!

Room Tip: A higher floor gives a good view but lifts are slow at busy times.

“Great base for exploring the area”

This is a great hotel in a simply brilliant location. As a solo female traveller who doesn't drive abroad, its location right next to the train station (well lit at night) was just wonderful. Also, the beachfront is only a couple of minutes walk away. The room was huge, with a much appreciated fridge for keeping that essential water cool on a hot day. I didn't use the pool but the garden area looked lush and green and was always quiet even if full of people. Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, the place was very clean and tidy, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone thinking of going to Fuengirola.

“Decent place to relax”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

I stayed here on my own for a week in October. Paid for a single room but got a nice big twin room to myself. It was on the 8th floor and had great views. I think the lower floors would see only other buildings so ask for upper levels. That said there are only two lifts and there can be some long waits.
The food was very good in the evenings and I loved the various salads. There was always choice though. One or two things could have been hotter but there is a microwave to give it a blast if it needs it.
Location is good, right at the station, 2 mins to the beach then a nice flat walk into town if you want shops etc.
Staff were great and I would be happy to go back to this hotel

Room Tip: Go for an upper floor to enjoy the views
