A well appointed hotel with clean bedrooms and nice public areas.
On our visit, however, there were some problems:
Firstly, the swimming pool was dirty and not cleaned during the duration of our stay.
Secondly, the management was unbelievably stingy with their coffee, nibbles etc. during both the evening and at breakfast time. We were told that each additional coffee at breakfast had to be paid for on top of the ‘all in’ breakfast. The manager said that this was because he used better coffee than the British were used to drinking, and it cost him a lot of money to provide extra coffees!
Thirdly, the hotel paid-staff stood around in the breakfast room smoking and gossiping whilst we were eating our breakfast. This may be common practice in the street-bars of Spain but it is not acceptable in a tourist-quality hotel.
In conclusion, it was not a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly but seemed cowed by their manager.

We totally agree with the previous comments - the quality of the hotel was a real surprise for this little town - a very classy establishment. Conveniently located, just inside the gates of the old town, the hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was quiet, confortable and clean, with a terrific shower! - our best yet in Spain. Some surprising features of the hotel - a very well appointed salon and a marvellous pool, with a very comfortable, sun drenched patio sitting area - just the spot for drinks at the end of the day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is possible in the surrounding streets.
Stay - you will not be disappointed.

A delightful surprise, very clean, excellent location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast more than adequate. Dinner - OK. Have recommended to our friends - we are planning our next stay.

This beautiful hotel set right inside the city walls of Baeza, reception staff brilliant, spotlessly clean, charming. I would eat somewhere else though.
