Just back from a holiday at this villa. What an amazingly wonderful time we all had. Rooms overlooking the gardens were just lovely to wake up to. The gardens are fabulous as is the pool. Everything working and just as it should be. Villa is well kept, clean and quiet. We all loved it (even out teenage sons) and they take some pleasing!!

Excellent surroundings, great food in the local restaurants and a really relaxing time.

Loved it and will certainly go back again.

The owners were very courteous & helpful with my queries. We spent a week in September -the house was a home from home, very tastefully furnished. The kitchen wonderfully equipped. With 3 teenage boys to accomodate, my husband and I still had complete privacy (& luxury!) in the master bedroom/spa bathroom which had beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. We were thrilled to find books and dvds to use on the evenings we chose to remain in. The pool was fantastic and the garden beautiful. Lovely area with easy access to south and Granada (nearby towns had great shopping/charming markets/eateries -though would not recommend the Chinese retaurant in Antequera!)
A great place to just relax and not feel compelled 'to do'; certainly returning next year with extended family.

we went with the entire family to Cortijo las vinas as part of a family birthday celebration. the place had two major problems which were not explained to us. first it is located just on the road. we did not think this will cause a problem, however at night each car that passed woke us immediately. Secondly, the electrical maintenance of the place was poor, with the air conditioning breaking down on us... not what you want to get on a Spanish summer, especially not what you want to get from a villa that is located on a road...
to not be able to sleep with open windows? i could have stayed in London...

Perhaps other things could have make this visit better, but with the poor service, and the problems above (i don’t think good service could have moved the house from the road though...). as for the region itself, it was lovely, we were very happy to discover many places in the village itself, including small restaurants and coffee shops hidden between the street.
