It is a cheap and cheerful business hotel on a roundabout in an industrial estate just outside Antequera. It is therefore very convenient for Antequera. The rooms are clean and we did not experience undue noise from the major road outside. The staff were welcoming. I don't know whether they could speak English - we used our limited knowledge of Spanish to get by and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Wifi is available free in your room, just make sure the reception lady knows you need it before she assigns you a room, because I think it is only available in some rooms.

The breakfast is basic and unappetising. Tea and coffee, juice and "Molletas" (local speciality breads) with packaged jam pots. That's it. Also, the beds slide away from the wall if you sit up in bed.

Looked great, 50 euroes, new, restaurant was fine, room was big and being out of town expected no traffic noise. But the conversation next door came through loud and clear, and then the music started. A wedding or something, with bass notes that hedphones could not block out. 2 sleepeing tablets at 3:00am finnaly killed it. Such a dissapointment..

We stayed there for two nights, when we drove from Sevilla to Granada, and had to leave from Malaga airport, less than 1-hour drive away from this hotel. The room and bathroom were big and comfortable. The hotel itself was big and spacious. Good service.

The only downside was the breakfast. The restaurant is opened to outside people and it seems to be quite popular in the morning. The non-smoking area was closed. And the food was only a hot buttered bread. So, we had a noisy, polluted, and scarce breakfast. Perfect to remind us that we were in Spain.

Found the Lozano after being turned away at the Parador... but was glad of it.

This is a modern hotel with something of a business feel to it. It's a mile or more out of Antequera's centre and we chose to take a taxi into town the night we were there - parking downtown being the usual Spanish nightmare.

Rooms and bathroom (walk-in shower, great!) are spacious and clean with all the usual in-room facilities. The restaurant and bar-area are more than adequate and we found the staff to be helpful, businesslike and courteous. Open-air onsite parking is a welcome bonus.

Good place to stay as a base for exploring the area or as a refreshing stop-off on the way back to Malaga airport. It's rated as a 3 star... but I'd put it close to a 4.
