if you go to marocco it's ok, but spend more days it's terribile! because the hotel is dirty and the city stinks, because it is facing a huge port.

We picked this hotel solely on location. It is directly across the street from the ferry terminal and down the street from our car rental agency. Other than that, there isn't much going on here. One of the floors (5th floor I think) is being completely renovated and is just a gutted shell. They charge you a 10 euro deposit for the remote control. The TV (while a flat screen) is a tiny 19 inch mounted on the wall and it doesn't work. The heat didn't work. The beds were like sleeping on slate slabs. The breakfast isn't that good either. The view wasn't too bad. Nor was the price, so I shouldn't be complaining that much.

So in conclusion, if you need to make that early ferry to Morocco, stay here. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

Our tour group arrived on our way to Morocco for a 2-night stay. We were two couples travelling together and saw a total of 5 rooms. One had a sewer smell, three had visible mould (and the other two smelled of mould). This hotel might have the noisiest plumbing in Europe. The rooms were dingy and dark and very sparsely furnished. The telephone did not work in one, and in two the beds were dreadful. Everything looked dirty. The dining room had a great view of the harbour, but the food was cold and unappetizing. We left our tour group members to their own complaints and checked in at the AC. It wasn't very convenient for the tour (although they certainly were accommodating) but we were the happiest people there! Our tour guide said the best solution would be to "implode" the hotel and build again. Couldn't agree more. It had a great view, but the building was a disaster.

An average hotel. Very central location right across from the port to Morocco. Although having said that, Algercias is not that big so there would have to better choices out there. In fact there is a lot of hotels in the streets behind this hotel. Average breakfast was included in the price. Rooms were very big and roomy, and the bath in the bathroom was a welcome sight. Not very clean room, the sheets in my room looked dirty. Overall, and average choice.
