Si a big central hotel, near the park, most of the guests are foreigners. The rooms are big and with a great view to the mountain. It has lots of facilities for relaxing and having fun. The employees are friendly and helpfull.

During my tour in Eastern Europe, I had the opportunity to visit Romania too. Just to share this wonderful region of Sinaia with you. Especially this small hotel called Vila Paris. From all the hotels or villas i stayed at (and there are quite some believe me), that place was comfortable, really cosy and nicely furnished. I have to mention that the standards of quality there were weigh above the 4**** i went to in Romania. But most important, we -my wife and I- really felt like home. Nice fireplace, really relaxing moment watching TV in their salon. The owner is really welcoming and warm. I read some criticism about the road, well it s not as bad as written. I encountered worse roads in Romania in big cities. So as a conclusion, i would definetely reommend Vila Paris for those who look for accomaodation with very good standards and a family atmosphere.

I stayed on this property for 2 nights in August 2008. The conditions there were pretty good, but the road was awful. Unless you own a 4x4 car, you should choose something else.

There are basically 2 options when driving: either you hit your engine shield (applies for my Civic and for all cars with normal distance to ground), either you go really really slow and overheat your clutch. There is the 3rd option that is not recommended for the faint hearted - walk. Every evening, some bears come by. See the pictures attached.

When I was there the internet was not working. Also, there is no parking, so you have to let the car on the road side.

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Paris. Our hostess Valentine and Mama Maria were so hospitable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homebaked pastry and Mama's sweet jams. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the sheets smooth as silk. It was delightful to talk with Valentine as she shared her life with us. In addition she was most helpful and informative on places we should visit while in Romania. Despite the bumpy road, this is definitely a 5 star bed and breakfast. Maryann and Joe Sabatino
