Stayed here 2 weeks ago with my partner and had a great time. We were brought to the room by a member of staff who was very helpful and the room was gorgeous. It was one of the larger balcony suites with a gas fireplace and 2 balconies which looked out over Ardmore bay.
The spa area was great to pass the time in. With a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and outdoor jacuzzi there was plenty of relaxing to be done.
Went to the restaurant for dinner and had the tasting menu. I think it was about 80 euros per person, but for the quality of the meal and the 8 - 10 courses we had it was well worth the price. Wine wasn't included and was an extra 40 euros per person (which I found a little over priced).
Over all a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff and a lovely restaurant. The only real criticism that I would have is that I generally thought that the hotel was overpriced for the location it's in. It wouldn't really have any competition as it is a bit out of the way.

Room and view are lovely. Loved it. Staff are just great. Dined in restaurant and found it wasn't the highlight of my stay. Was seated in a cramped corner facing into a wall.Wine list was extortionate. €27 cheapest bottle of red, found pheasant starter bland boring and not particularly appetising. Excellant steak cooked perfectly to my liking but overpowered I felt by sauce. Irish Hereford prime steak needs very little with it. Cliff house fool for desert. Wasn't that nice to my own taste. Breakfast was excellent. Bar was very pleasant and enjoyable. Great barman. I would recommend it all in all and will be back.

The hotel and views were outstanding but the magic of the place is the food. Words can't do justice to the meal we had and the unbelievable array of tastes that were laid before us.
Not cheap but then you know that before you go there.
