Great little hotel, well worth the visit, brings back the meaning " a warm welcome" many of the big hotels should take note on HOW TO LOOK AFTER visitors & locals alike, we came as a family to surf and found a lovely place to stay eat & surf, At last something to do in Ireland even in the Rain , pitty we didnt discover this 10 years ago. See you all in Sligo soon. Ray, Ro & Kids

“A first class hotel in the Sligo area.”

We have just spent a week at this small but very attractive hotel,and we can highly recommend it. Anyone planning a visit to the Sligo area should not be discouraged by the small photos seen on the website, because this hotel is really first class. The rooms are very comfortable and very tastefully decorated and all have large bathrooms, with everything working perfectly. The cuisine is of a very high standard, as is the service. The hosts, Shay and Jean couldn´t be more accomodating, so I would always stay there when visiting the Sligo/Leitrim area, and would have no
qualms at all about recommending it.

Easily one of the nicest hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in within Ireland. After a relaxing Seaweed Bath, relax, and enjoy all that The Ocean View has to offer. Big room,good food,nice cozy bar,friendly family-run hotel. Can't wait to return!
