The lobby reminded me of somewhat of an office building--cold and flourescent looking, unwelcoming, but clean and shiny.
Before visiting the Cosmopolitan I had read some bad reviews concerning the cleanliness of the rooms. However, our room was just fine--there were two beds and cannot say whether or not the one we chose not to sleep in was clean, but the one we did sleep in was fine. The carpet felt clean and the place had been recently dusted.
We tried the pool but the elevator leading to the pool was not working, which I assume meant the pool was closed. That was somewhat disappointing!
I found no problems with the room or hotel whatsoever, it was comfortable, it just wasn't special. It was an average hotel room inside an average hotel. So if you want somewhere clean and comfortable, I can't speak for other rooms but ours was fine. If you're looking for something unique or different than the average stay, look somewhere else, as there's nothing extraordinary about this place.
