This wasn't a bad stay by any means, but I think I could've done better for myself than this. There was a BO stink in the hallways, and it was hard to get an outlet to plug in cell phone, laptop, etc., and the water, when I turned it on in the sink, made a very loud noise in the pipes if you cranked it a direction it didn't like.

That said, the other aspects of the room really weren't bad. The staff was extremely accommodating of a request to switch rooms due to a family with small children next door who were being quite loud. Even though the situation was obviously no fault of their own, they handled it quite well, and I found them overall to be very friendly.

The location wasn't bad, and if the purpose of your visit is University of Arkansas, you're within a reasonable distance. However, if you're going to visit more than one place in NW Arkansas (i.e. Bentonville, Rogers), you can do better for yourself by staying in Bentonville/Rogers...much more upscale, and better food around the hotel. So, I would recommend it if you're looking for something no-frills and it has to be in Fayetteville, but if you're going elsewhere in the area, check your options.

My husband and I went to Bikes Blues and BBQ 2009 and stayed at this Hampton Inn. The King Suite was HUGE and very clean. We were very impressed with the layout and size of the room. I could have slept in that bed forever! Not a typical hotel mattress.

We had no advance reservations, just happened to see it and decided to stop. The hotel is very clean and nice, and the price was good too. Breakfast was good.

Typical Hampton Inn, great front desk staff. I would stay here again. There is a cab company you can call if you don't want to drive to Dickson Street, which is great if you have a late night. They also offer a military discount.
