I stayed here with friends the weekend of the bog snorkelling championship and had one of the most enjoyable weekends ages. The house was beautiful and every one was so friendly .emer cork

We have just returned from a most enjoyable stay in Alices Loft. We have stayed in many houses over the years. We a re young at heart senior citizens and this was by far the best. The house was very well equipped and our host Declan was extremely helpful in a non intrusive way. We were bowled over by scenery - hills and lakes and found the locals extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this house and this venue.

Found Alices loft on internet great find, Declan is a gem, nothing too much trouble. Went for fishing mainly, Loch Muckno is fantastic, plenty of roach some skimmers etc. Great crack in castleblayney, loads of pubs good food, Corrigans Kitchen serves great grub, as does the Glencarn Hotel

Declan was so on the ball... Does this guy ever chill out.???. He works non stop to ensure all is running smoothly.. Also he's a 'T Total' guy!! As for ''Alices Loft'' the whole place really is home from home.. I will be back and will bring a crowd for a week end.. well worth a visit for anyone.. very family friendly too...
