Enjoyed my short stay here. I had requested a room with disabled facilities and was pleased to find a level deck shower suitable for wheelchair users, although not in a wheelchair I do have mobility problems. However when using the shower ,because the curtain did not reach the floor a lot of water started pooling on the highly glazed floor tiles. An inappropriate metal mesh garden chair was provided as a seat for the shower, I did try to use it but it shot across the shower floor which unnerved me, so I just stood up.Exiting the bathroom was a nightmare, I had to walk across a selection of towels (a trip hazard in itself), the floor was lethal! Please put in a non-slip floor and a shower seat secured to the wall.Otherwise, fast Wi-Fi internet in the room was great, however the lighting is poor , the 'bedside' lights are half way up the wall, totally useless for reading by! Comfy bed and clean room. Food in the 'Turntable' restaurant unexceptional but the views over the harbour were great. Breakfast next morning was fine. Staff went to great lengths to advise us of an interesting route to Downings, given our time restraints, and were very helpful. I would stay here again but bring my own shower stool.More
