“Excellent accomodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

Slightly tricky to find for a new arrival to left hand driving on a dark, rainy and foggy night but helped immensely by several roadside direction signs and on return in daylight much easier! Excellent room and fabulous breakfast, very welcoming hosts and accommodating to our late arrival. Quiet and comfortable, with spacious rooms, we returned on our way out of the country as well and highly recommend to other travelers - very handy for Cork airport.

“We recommend this B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2011

Gorgeous house, very well fitted, strategically located near the airport (5 min. by car), close to Cork city (15 min. by car) and close to the beautifull harbour of Kinsale. Although we hadn't booked, the proietor immediatly found us a cot for our baby . In few words, courtesy and customer care are upmost in this lovely house.

“Great in all respects.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2011

We selected this B&B because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor, and we weren’t disappointed. The rooms are very spacious, as are the bathrooms, which isn’t true of many B&Bs, even very good ones. The breakfasts were also very well done, and the couple who runs Insiara are genuinely friendly and helpful. They dug out an old guitar because my son said he wished he could have brought his own guitar on our trip; they fetched restaurant coupons out of a newspaper when we mentioned that our dinner the previous night was pricey. They like people and it shows. The B&B is about a ten-minute ride from Kinsale, where we spent most of our time over the three days we spent there. It’s not a long ride at all, and it was a much better value than the Kinsale B&Bs which tend to charge a premium. (Please note that a lot of Irish B&B sites and Google Earth have Insiara’s location marked incorrectly; it’s on the main road from Cork to Kinsale, the R600, about two miles south of the Cork airport and two miles north of the village of Riverstick.) My wife and I and are three teenage kids spent three weeks in Ireland, and Insiara was everyone’s pick for best B&B.

“Best B&B I've ever stayed in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2011

I wouldn't usually be a fan of B&Bs but I'm re-appraising my stance after staying here. This was a lovely B&B. The couple who run it were very helpful, to the extent that they gave us a lift down to our friends who we were visiting a few miles away. So so nice.

Eileen (I think) was very apologetic that we got the smallest room there but it was more than suitable for our needs, very nice and clean and with a nice bathroom. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room (and chocolate biscuits - a nice touch!) and we were offered tea when we arrived as well. Breakfast was really great as well.

All in all, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely return if I'm heading down that area of the country again.
