We selected this B&B because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor, and we weren’t disappointed. The rooms are very spacious, as are the bathrooms, which isn’t true of many B&Bs, even very good ones. The breakfasts were also very well done, and the couple who runs Insiara are genuinely friendly and helpful. They dug out an old guitar because my son said he wished he could have brought his own guitar on our trip; they fetched restaurant coupons out of a newspaper when we mentioned that our dinner the previous night was pricey. They like people and it shows. The B&B is about a ten-minute ride from Kinsale, where we spent most of our time over the three days we spent there. It’s not a long ride at all, and it was a much better value than the Kinsale B&Bs which tend to charge a premium. (Please note that a lot of Irish B&B sites and Google Earth have Insiara’s location marked incorrectly; it’s on the main road from Cork to Kinsale, the R600, about two miles south of the Cork airport and two miles north of the village of Riverstick.) My wife and I and are three teenage kids spent three weeks in Ireland, and Insiara was everyone’s pick for best B&B.
