“Large clean rooms with an amazing buffet Breakfast and friendly staff”

I stayed at the Odysseon hotel during my trip to Greece. We found the hotel through Booking.com. We were looking for a hotel very close to Meteora and this is the best anyone could get. We got an amazing deal for the room.

In my 4 weeks holiday of Greece and Italy, this is the best hotel i stayed in.

The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The balcony looked right onto the simple garden which is kept very clean and the views of the kalambaka town was very good.

The hotel is at the end of the road of Kalambaka and hence it was very quiet and peaceful. Staying at Odysseon and visiting the beautiful and peaceful monastries at Meteora was very special. Staying at this hotel made it very special

The spread at the breakfast for a small hotel was amazingly superb!! just loved it. The best breakfast in my four weeks in Greece and Italy.

We were in Greece when they had the Truck drivers strike in July'10 for days together and we were stuck in Kalambaka without Petrol. The staff were so useful in giving us information about where to get petrol and they kept us updated on the news everytime they saw us.

Really an excellent choice of place to stay for anyone visiting Meteora..

“One of the worst hotel i have ever visit!!!”

We stay for one night at Odysseon Hotel and all we can say that it isn't worth for even one night!
The room was very dirty, smelly and old!
The bathroom! Not even close to a bathroom!
It is small (i seat on the toilette so i can brush my teeth in the morning)!.
The certain one the shower was dirty and smell like moist!
Now what can i say about the breakfast!
One of the worst i have ever eaten!
It has only some cheese and some cake.
For the 44 euros that i pay for this hotel i thing that i've been robbed.
Find an other hotel in Kalampaka so you can have a decent sleep.
And something else, do not eat at Vakxos Tavern in Kastraki.
Terrible food and very expensive, not worth.

“Extremely helpful staff and great views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 May 2010

When we checked in the man gave us a map of the area and recommended what he thought we should do. He told us about a village that the monks try to hide away from the tourists in and recommended a great place to see the sunset from. The hotel is only a few hundred meters from the cliffs and the views are amazing.

They have free car parking, free wifi and the rooms are excellent.

“Nice Hotel”

We found this hotel to be quite nice for the price. Our room was relatively large, clean and with no sign of insects. The balcony had a beautiful view of the rocks. The breakfast was large. The staff gave us hints to help us see the most sights in our available time. We would stay here again.

“A Jewel in Kalambaka”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2009

Very well located at the end of Kalambaka with plenty of parking space.
The attendants were friendly and helpful, right away the provided me with a map of Meteora, and answer question about the site.
The rooms had a niece view of the rocks. The room was ample and clean. The only problem was controlling the temperature of the water in the shower, a very minor inconvenience.

It was the best breakfast we had in all hotels in greece. The only hotel of the ones we stayed offering scrambled eggs and bacon, which I love.
