Our little piece Heaven is what we call Pond Mountain Lodge and Resort. We started going there in 1993, got married there in 1996 and return each year to celebrate where our lives began. It is such a beautiful place and Judy and her staff are the best. Whatever we may need, be it fresh towels or just a friendly chat, trail rides or even a walk up to the pond, we could not ask for anything more. The beauty and the serenity is just what we look forward to each and every year and we have even made friends who keep the tradition with their families. This year we had the pleasure of two other couples who are very dear friends came for the weekend and they also fell in love with Pond Mountain. There was a comment made...now we know why you love this place so much and how they look forward to returning to Pond Mountain.

We stayed 2 nights at Pond Mountain, in the Merlin Suite at the main lodge. Pond Mountain Resort is tucked away in the quiet outskirts of Eureka Springs, AR. All of the eminities are here...King sized bed, jaccuzi, fireplaces, swimming pool; beautiful pond for fishing (they even have the poles!), easy trails for walking, benches if you get the urge to sit quietly and read or to enjoy the majestic beauty of the Ozark Mountains. Loved it!

Very peaceful,restful and quiet. Woke up every morning with deer outside the bedroom window. The suite I was in had very nice furniture designed by a leading American designer. There was swimming,hiking,horseback riding or just relaxing by 2 ponds at the top of the mountain. Judy, the innkeeper, was a magnificent hostess with a world of knowledge of Eureka Springs. You could tell she loved what she was doing.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pond Mountain. We were in the Hummingbird Suite right above a very well maintained and almost private pool.
Despite the dry weather, the grounds were beautiful. Our two Golden Retrievers loved swimming and chasing bull frogs in the pond which was quite peaceful and beautiful especially in the morning. Judy the Innkeeper was very polite and friendly and did not intrude on our privacy at all. We read some negative reviews and were rather saddened to see that in this day some people could be so freaked out about the possibility of seeing gays or lesbians. Probably these same folks would have been freaked out by seeing African Americans. I thought we were all just people. Some also wined about the lack of TV channels. We did not come to Pond Mountain to watch TV. In fact we never even turned on the TV. Lastly if someone is upset about the Innkeeper sorting through their trash for recycles, then, as my wife said, they don't need to be at Pond Mountain Lodge anyway. Maybe they could have just educated themselves and their children enough to sort out the recycles themselves
The jaccuzi was wonderful but please be sure to get the water level above the jets before you turn them on.
