My husband and I stayed here during our trip to Eureka Springs in August. While it was scorching hot there during that time of year, the room stayed cool and lovely. We stayed in the Carriage House and it was the quaintest, most charming room I've ever stayed in! It was very private and felt like my own little cottage in the hills! The room was stocked with coffee and tea and bottled waters and upon arrival there was a little platter of cookies waiting for us! Breakfast each morning was amazing and we ate out on the back patio overlooking the garden. I recommend this place to everyone I hear is visiting Eureka Springs.

We went to see the fall foliage and fell in love with Eureka Springs - and Heart of the Hills. David is an amazing host (fresh warm cookies on arrival) and the most delicious breakfast we've ever had - on the patio overlooking the garden. The Cottage is delightful, warm, comfortable, and welcoming. It is in the best location - close to the downtown area, and on the trolley route. Don't miss checking out the Crescent Hotel (go to the fourth floor and just take in the view) and ride the carriage if she is still there (she swore she was retiring).

My wife and I chose to celebrate our one year anniversary here at Heart of the Hills Inn. From before I even met him Dave was an excellent point of contact in planning my trip to Eureka, and helping me when I got lost trying to get there! The breakfast he prepares each morning was unbelievable and a definate must. Would and will recommend this to anyone I get a chance too.

Heart of the Hills Inn has undergone a change in ownership, and David (the new owner) is an amazing host! We stayed in the little separate cottage, next to the main house, which was a charming, wonderful space. The cottage has a queen bed on the main floor, a very functional mini-kitchen (with stovetop, mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, etc.), and a double bed in the loft. The kitchen included coffee, tea, and water, and the bathroom included lovely amenities. Everything was very comfortable and cozy. We had an amazing full breakfast, cooked by Shirley, David's mom, who is also a talented painter! We had fruit, juice, homemade biscuits, and a delicious breakfast casserole with eggs, potatoes, sausage and cheese. David went above and beyond from the moment we booked the cottage, asking about dietary preferences in his confirmation email and checking on trolley passes for us. He also made several restauant suggestions that were great choices. We plan on returning again very soon, and will recommend Heart of the Hills to our friends as well!
