The Eureka Sunset cabins are a wonderful find in Eureka Springs. There are currently 6 stand-alone cabins (3 with a full kitchen and 3 with a half kitchen) as well as 3 "cottage style" rooms that are connected to the check-in lobby and owner's residence.
We stayed in "Just a Bear Getaway". The cabin was very clean, well decorated, and had many thoughtful touches. The cabin boasts an open floor plan containing a full kitchen with table and chairs, a comfortable king-size bed, and a cozy area with fireplace, flat-screen TV, and 2-person jacuzzi tub. The bathroom (with dual-headed shower) is the only separate room. A gas grill is located on the back deck overlooking the woods. Although the front of the cabin is fairly close to the main road leading into Eureka Springs, we never heard any highway traffic when we were inside the cabin. The main street through downtown Eureka is only a couple miles away, making it very convenient to hop into town for a meal or stroll through the unique shops.
The owner will sometimes allow well-behaved dogs for an additional fee. There is generally a 2-night minimum stay for Eureka Sunset, but you may be able to request a one-night stay during slower times. We have nothing but good things to say about the lovely anniversary weekend we spent at Eureka Sunset!
