“Can't wait to go back!”

We stayed here for our wedding annivarsary. This was our fourth visit and this is where we spent our Honeymoon. We loved it before, but really were impressed with all the upgrades they have made! We love the way they have enclosed the hot tub room (which is our favorite place to be!) and added a nice comfy matteress. We were so cozy, we just wanted to stay in bed and watch tv all day! Rebecca greeted us so warmly and offered us movies to take to the cabin to watch since it was chilly outside. The next day we took a walk around the beautiful grounds and down to the river which is just accross the road. We just love it there and can't wait to go back. I recomment it to anyone who wants to get away and relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of town. Thank you Rebecca! :)

“Cozy Getaway”

We have stayed at Rebecca's a few times now and are never disappointed. Rebecca's home and cozy cabin are located just minutes from Eureka Springs and all it's attractions and yet is a very secluded beautiful and peaceful retreat when the days sight seeing is done. It's is a real stress buster to sit in the hot tub looking out over Rebecca's well kept gardens and the White River. We have seen bald eagles on many occasions soring overhead and swooping down to catch an unlucky fish for dinner. It is really awe inspiring to see nature this up close in all of it's majesty. Everyday there seems to be something new to watch, deer, raccoons, humming birds.

The cabin is small but very comfortable. I don't know if it's the bed or the serenity of the surrounding or both but we sleep like babies when we are here. The hot tub is a treat, is it out on the raised deck next to the cabin we love to sit out there at night with a glass of wine and just look at the stars.

There is a built in outdoor grill and a walking path to a wet weather water fall. Walking through the gardens or down by the river is a real treat. If you come in the fall the colors are incredible. We have been here in all seasons and have even seen it turn into a winter wonderland when it snowed.

Rebecca is so lucky to live in such a beautiful place and we are always grateful she has shared it with us at such a great price.

If the city has you stressed out then make a trip here it will cure all that ails you and you won't want to leave.

“Peaceful Getaway”

I just left Rebecca's County Cottage just outside Eureka Springs, Arkansas, on Tuesday, November 16th. I had a great time. The cabin is inviting and spotless, with a beautiful view of the extensive gardens and the White River. Lounging in the large rain-or-shine, hot tub gives a view of the mountain, Rock Patio, new stone Bar-B-Que grill and pathway leading out to a bench overlooking the wet weather waterfall, and the ravine which hosts a pair of Bald Eagles. This is also a very peaceful relaxing place to set and take in the beauty of the River and nature all around you or just sit and read a book.

The trees were still decked out in their bright autumn colors. Rebecca has a Lots of Lovely Gardens, there were three new gardens that had just been completed and two new benches one to sit beside the river the other next to the pond.

Eureka Springs' has so many good restaurants. Between the Great meals, a wonderful massage at Healing Benefits and Rebecca's County Cottage it was a wonderful Trip.

“Poor value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2010

The property is in need of maintenance, repair and a deep cleaning. We traveled from California and relied on the web site information to make our choice to stay at this location. The setting was as represented, tranquil in a garden setting. However, the web site information gave us the impression that the cottage sat by itself and was located very close to the river. The cottage actually sits to the rear and side of the property owner's home. The river is approximately 100 feet from the cottage and the view of the river is obstructed by mature trees. Refering to my statement about cleaning, the hot tub gives the entire cottage a musty, moldy smell.

In 2008 The Army Corp of Engineers Made a Mistake that Flooded the property
I also Lost my Long time Guy who Cared for the property & Gardens
I went thru 3 Replacements that while not Caring for thing as they should have also
created more Damage.
It has Been a long Hard process But persistence has paid off
We have 2 Fantastic Gentlemen That have Done Wonders to repair & Improve things to a state Better than ever.
We have still more plans for New Projects.
As to The view: This is the Ozark Mountains With Beautiful Mature Trees, Not A Sand Beach on the Ocean.
That said there is still a Very Nice View of the River that is the Front of our 3 & 1/2 Acre property.
The Army Corp has a set back of about 50 Ft that you can not build a permanent structure
To protect from Flooding the Structure at anytime.
There is NO Rentals Right on the Bank of the River, they are either set back or very high above the River.
The area between the Cabin & the River is All Planted in Beautiful Gardens That have been Restored & added to this Year.
As to Value: I know of No place where you can Get at nightly rental with a Hot Tub at as low let alone lower Rate.
As to Cleanliness: The Cabin is Closed on Monday & Tuesday so the Hot tub can be Drained, Cleaned & refilled.
An enclosed Pool or Hot Tub area may have some smell of moisture, to say it effects the whole Cabin is an exaggeration. I have used fragrance oil in the Hot Tub & Room Fresheners in the past & told that someone was allergic to Perfumes.
This is hard to balance, but in the future maybe I can ask if there is a problem with any allergies & if so only then withhold the fragrances.
I have Books Full of Hundreds Very Satisfied Guest Comments.
Sometimes No matter what you provide there will be some that can find something they would like different.
But we always look at the suggestions & try to do all we can to continue to improve anything that is needed..

“Eureka Springs cottage”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2008

We stayed at Rebecca's Country Cottage for a week in July while visiting Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The location was pretty and private and the cottage itself was okay. But we were a little disappointed about the property itself....everything was a bit overgrown, slightly run down, and a little shabby. It didn't look like the perfectly manicured pictures on the website.

The cottage is located on the White River and the owner's son did tell us that the river had flooded the property in the spring, so in all fairness, we don't know if that had anything to do with the overgrown look of the property.
