“Wedding trip to Eureka”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

We booked the Hideway Suite at the Ridgeway Bed and Breakfast for our wedding trip to Eureka Springs. It was an amazing weekend. Gayla and Keith were so helpful and made everything so special for us. The house is beautiful, located in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to downtown. The walk back is challenging due to the steep hills of Eureka, so ask about trolley tickets for the trip back. We stayed in their Hideaway Suite which is like a small apartment. It is so much bigger than it looks in the pictures. We added an extra day to our trip and they made arrangements for us to stay in one of their upstairs rooms, The Nantucket. I loved having coffee out on the balcony and watching the birds. It was so quiet and peaceful. And of course, there is Keith's cooking. He provides breakfast and it was amazing. I have already been informed by my new husband that sausage pastries are on our breakfast menus in the future. Oh, and if you get a chance to hear him play the guitar, that is a treat also.

“First time at B&B...Just ok.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2011

This was our first time to visit a B&B. We wanted something within walking distance to main street and found this place is within walking distance but you must remember, what goes down, must come up !! LOL Pine street is the killer !
If you are looking for a very quiet B&B, this is your place.
Our stay was in the Nantucket room which was a nice comfortable queen bed with its own bath. Overall the room was ok. I would suggest updating the carpet and drapes would help alot. The shower curtain had mold on it and that should be a simple fix !
Yes Keith is an excellent cook ! Enjoyed the snacks and breakfast. He is very easy to visit with and always helpful with information about the local area.
Best wishes to 1908 Ridgeway House.

“Best B&B in Eureka Springs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 March 2011

My husband and I honeymooned here in April 2008. The house is beautiful, rooms are lovely, food is UNBELIEVABLE, the house is pretty much walking distance from anything you'd want to do or see - we walked everywhere. And when we left we felt like Keith and Gayla were our friends - not just our hosts. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

“Wonderful hospitality, food, and unique decor!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2010

This was the first time my boyfriend and I have ever been to a bed and breakfast and it was a great experience. Keith (the innkeeper) made our stay even better. He was a wonderful host and very informative about Eureka Springs as far as what we should do and where to go.

The place itself was a little tucked away in a neighborhood but it is walking distance to to the main tourist strip. Because it is tucked away, there wasn't too much noise. The location is excellent if you want a little peace and quiet but also be able to see the main attractions of the town.

We were there two nights total and the first night, Keith was gracious enough to play his guitar and sing a song for us. The next morning, he prepared a wonderful homecooked meal for us. Keith makes a killer quiche (I think that's what it was anyway. haha) and also french toast. Definitely ask him to make the french toast if you are there.

As far as the rooms, we stayed in the Newport room, which was a little snug, but still a wonderfully, charming room. There was cute and unique antiques everywhere which gave the whole place a certain artistic flair. There was also a sunroom w/ a balcony, where you could go outside and enjoy the breeze or have some tea w/ a couple of friends.

Overall, we loved this place and would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to other vacationers.

“Fun entertaining getaway or quiet weekend retreat ... Ridgeway is it.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2010

Great fun. So close to everything and Gayla and Keith are "in the know" in Eureka so there isn't anything you can't find. So helpful to getting the weekend I really wanted when the Innkeepers are able to help you plan it or help you switch it at the drop of the hat. And YEAH to Keith's cooking skills. They are like the concierge service and personal gourmet chef too! And the opportunity for hanging during Blues Fest and other events is awesome. They are almost intuitive as to knowing how you want to be treated.
