Room was ok, but window and blinds were dirty, and tub had mildew, nice location, staff friendly and helpful, continental breakfast less than desirable, but we bought food at local grocery store and added to the breakfast. We were put in room near smokers and had to walk through that to go downstairs, but they did accomodate the one night stay that we had reserved not knowing a two night stay was minimum, because it was their fault for not letting us know ahead of time. The bed was hard, but cushioned it with a blanket underneath. We found a nicer hotel the second night that was much better for same price.

After reading several reviews of this place, I decided it would be fine for us and our tiny yorkie. We did need to find a place that was pet friendly and this limited us. However, the room was not at all up to our expectations. This place is very old and needs major renovations in order to be satisfactory. The outside is very rundown, needs paint, cleaning up, etc. The room itself didn't look too bad at first, but then we pulled down the bedspread and the sheets were very thin and had dark spots on them. The pillows were flat and dirty under the pillow cases...I would have thrown them out. The bathroom was clean, but the toilet bowl was stained and the seat had paint chipped off of it. The towels were ragged....need I say more. For the amount we paid I'm sure we could have found something much nicer since there were lots of vacancy signs on other places. I always check the trip advisor reviews before booking a room when we travel and that's why I decided I needed to do this review. Hopefully it may help someone else. I'm not sure I can rely on the reviews myself anymore.

To the lady that dissed this place......, I have been coming here for the last 20 years, and have seen probably 3 different owners in that time. The people that had it before the current owners let it go downhill, but these guys have gone above and beyond to get her back into shape. Also, they are extremely friendly and accommodating in every way. You might want to do your home work before giving a bad review because I dont see how you could say there was nothing within walking distance but a "rowdy biker bar". You can literally walk any direction to countless shops, restaurants, music shows and even other hotels.....and as far as the "rowdy biker bar".....I am a biker and have been in many rowdy bars, but this place is VERY tame and family oriented and in fact, its not a bar at all. Its a family restaurant that doesnt even have a pool table, but DOES have very good food and service. (try the ribs...they are to die for).
Bottom line....If you want a full breakfast in the mornings and a mint on you pillow, then go pay more than twice the amount at one of the bigger places. But if you want clean. friendly and reasonable, give this place a try. Terry Latta Pryor, Ok.

My boyfriend and I went on an impromptu trip to Eureka Springs this past weekend, and we both decided that a cheaper hotel would be perfectly fine since we didn't anticipate spending much time hanging out in the room. That being said, we probably could have found a hotel that was comparably priced with more comfortable beds. I felt like I was sleeping directly on springs. The room itself was a bit outdated -- there was an ooooooooooold tube tv that matched the straight-from-the-80s comforters. The staff was nice, although a little strange, and the pool area seemed nice, but we didn't actually go to it. All in all, it wasn't terrible, and the free wifi was nice, but considering we ONLY wanted it as a place to sleep, it was definitely less than spectacular.
