Didn't spend much time in the room - 3 day weekend - steep stairs to room; small room, "extremely" small bathroom!; ant problem around window and sink in room; 1st time using Jacuzzi only had about 3-4 inches of hot water before it ran cold - did have plenty 2 other times; bed not very comfortable; food OK, not great - 2 breakfasts were essentially continental-sweet apple cinnamon casserole,one sausage,fruit; 1 breakfast quiche, fruit, coffee cake.never saw owner, Judie - male that delivered food was very helpful with directions, etc.; not well insulated - could hear couple next door talking, etc. etc.

Just wanted to set the record straight! We booked our elopement and honeymoon at Main Street Inn, and were pleased. We stayed in the Jennifer (peach house), only two rooms in this house - very private, very nice. We especially enjoyed our jacuzzi for two, and the front porch. Our wedding, just us, owner Judie, and Richard (Photographer) was sweet. Judie provided flowers as I preferred (yellow roses), small heart shaped cake, wedding toast, cd of wedding photos and a lovely service. We had carriage ride with 2 small bottles of champagne, cheese & crackers, pinwheel appetizers, plus handmade chocolates in a basket with glasses to enjoy during ride. There is a mini fridge in room, a similar plate of appetizers and cold drinks were waiting for us on arrival. A delicious breakfast of quiche, juice, flavored coffee, fruit and sweet bread was delivered hot to our room each morning. I'm sure it's not the fanciest place in Eureka - but it's not cheap and awful as the other review suggests. I've stayed at the Crescent and the Main Street Inn room was much nicer and only a 10 minute walk to town. Also a very affordable price for our package!! Thanks, Judie - for making our wedding, honeymoon special.

my husband and i were more than surprised to find tht you could hear everything from the next room as if they were in your own room; plus we shared a door connecting the rooms together which you could see shadows under the door due to the huge gap.
we didnt stay; the innkeeper did refund our money without trouble, but i left a wedding cd and a vase full of flown in roses which was never returned.
further we booked a package through them which included horse/carriage ride, they too own this company, it was said to include appetizers and champagne, the champagen was okay, two small bottles, however the appetizers were broken crackers wrapped in clear wrap and a piece of old cheese also wrapped up by hand, and two pieces of cheap chocolate candies.

cheap cheap cheap and a horrible waste of time and money
