You want to experience soviet serves levels. Visit this hotel. Where no as an answer seems the main concept. Staff smelly, in evening and morning and that is including the owner. Quality of food that would match state owned restaurants in Minsk or Wolgograd. staff using swimming pool as if they own it, showing irritation towards guests also using the pool. Breakfast with burnt croissants. how can you miss some quality preparing a breakfast. Ashtrays from evening before still on tables in the morning. No airco although mentioned in recommendation. I would suggest expedia and guide hotel and chateau to delete this hotel as this may reflect on the quality of the rest. This was our first recommendation from the guide and a disappointing experience. Taking into account the price this is our worst hotel and restaurant experience since visiting Boedapest in 1989.

We stayed in the pavillon for several nights with our children in hot July 2010. Unfortunately the air condition was broken and did not work in the entire pavillon, which made our nights very tough.
The restaurant had a very inexperienced service, no chef de service, the food was not even average, the wine was warm, even the white and rosé and we had to ask for a cooler. The rooms were nice with old and stylish furniture, but the room mate did only do a marginal cleaning of the room. The breakfast was minimal, self service and some mornings it had not even enough cups for coffee and milk (even though there were only a few guests). Reception was friendly and quick.
The park of the chateau was very nice with many nice places in the shadow and a nice pool. The tennis court was in bad conditions and dirty. The owners were very helpful and made several proposals for day trips, etc. but it seams that they have lost their energy.

This hotel looks romantic in the pictures, but in reality shabby, staff have an attitude and rooms are downright depressing.

We stayed in the new Pavillon du Chateau which just oozes atmosphere as it comprises farm buildings which have been sympathetically restored and converted to a splendid hotel. The establishment is family run which lends an air of friendliness and concern to please. The cuisine is excellent, specialising in local specialities from local produce. The decor is very original and to a very high standard. Each bedroom is individually furnished with luxurious drapes and antique specimens. Tennis and swimming are available in the chateau grounds and there is a superb health spa in the hotel. All in all everything one would need for a holiday set in the beautiful tranquil countryside.
