Hotel Kandahar has great location, perfect for skiing in the great slopes of Pas de la Casa and Grandvalira, the rooms are comfortable, the quadrupel rooms are perfect with children, the services for skiiers are all you would need , but I would like to highligh two things:
Food is gorgeous and specially, the absolute best of this hotel is that they make you feel like home, the way you are treated by all the members of the personnel, the atmosphere at the bar, the kids have activities and a nice area to play while you relax. And I insist, food is gorgeous.

Had a room with a double bed and 2 bunks for 4 adults for Euro 212.80 with breakfast for full 3 nights. Excellent room. Food ok. Just tried booking for Jan 09 and told same 4 adults and same room 220 Euros per night. Is it worth that much? I say not...works out even pricier if all adults have individual beds...but there you go. I wouldnt recommend this to my best mate coz he's too tight to pay this kinda money!
