My husband and I stayed here from 15th Jan for a week. Booked through Thomas cook, half board. We arrived at 0130 after long airport delays and were pleased to find the hotel had left 2 plates of food (rolls and meat/cheese/salad) and bottled water in our room.
The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the slopes. They have ski lockers in the basement but we paid 20euros each for a heated locker at the side of the slope. Best money I ever spent. Boots were warm when we put them on in the morning. And dry inside. Bliss. Also you got a free drink at Paddys bar each day by showing your locker card.
The room we were in faced the side and was a but noisy because of the bars near by. But that's not the fault of the hotel. The furnishings were basic but very nice and the bathroom was a very good standard. Body wash in dispenser on wall. Shampoo etc in satchets . Even aftersun supplied! Beds were comfy and there was extra pillows in the top of the wardrobe. Safe cost 6 euros for the week and is operated by your room card.
There is free wifi all over the hotel. I think maybe a different router for each floor. But the signal was good enough to FaceTime in our room. The room was very hot though and we opened the window a lot. TV worked well but only news channels in English.
All the public areas were well maintained but with smoking permitted in the bar, we found that off putting.
The food is what you would expect for a half board hotel in a foreign country. It's local cuisine. Plenty of choice and for the unadventurous there were lots of "normal" things to choose. Couldn't fault it.
The jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were clean and perfect after a hard day. There are showers up there too, but take your own towel as its 1 euro to rent one. And flip flops so you don't slip! The lady did pop in and out constantly to try and keep the floor dry as much as possible though.
The staff were all very friendly and attentive and spoke good English.
Pas De La Casa is not really a beginners resort, but great for intermediates and advanced. We did the ski school and our techniques certainly improved.
We've loved it here and will be sad to go home tomorrow.
