“Fantastic Hotel!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Just spent a lovely week here with my husband. The hotel is fantastic, the staff are so friendly and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they really went out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The hotel is well located to the slopes and the bars. The rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day. The rooms were a reasonable size and well equipped, although it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
The sauna/ steam room facilities were a lovely treat after a day on the slopes. A swimming pool would be a lovely addition.
We stayed on a half board basis, the breakfasts were tasty and varied. The food on an evening was authentic and i certainly never got bored of it. I had food from the grill most nights and always found it was well cooked.
I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

“Clean, modern hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

We stayed 5-12 Feb 2012. 2 adults & 1 child 11yrs. Hotel is very clean & minimalist with a small bar area which was often too busy to get a seat in the evening. The dining room is comfortable & staff very helpful but it felt more like a canteen than a 4* restaurant, with tables set in long lines causing you to pick a route behind other diners backs to access the buffet. All meals are buffet style and quite repetative in content. I found most hot buffet food to be only tepid even when straight out of the kitchen. The grill was the best option for hot food where the chef would cook meat/fish of the day to order. There was a lot of use of nuts (particularly pistachio which was sprinkled on almost every dessert) which caused a problem for a nut allergy sufferer in our group and prevented us all from enjoying a choice of desserts. I did explain the problem & a nut free alternative was provided but was not offered daily & issues of cross contamination not understood/considered. The wine list was quite extensive and reasonably priced starting at about 12 euros for a decent bottle. Rooms spacious even using sofa bed, although lacked anyhwere to hang damp ski gear, (only inside wardrobe) hooks on the wall would have been useful. Bathroom makes or breaks it for me. It was very clean with separate shower and bath with shower attachment. The location is very handy for the slopes which are a short walk down hill, and you can access all areas of the extensive mountains of Grandvalira easily whatever your ability. The hotel provides individual secure ski lockers for each hotel room. The apres ski, which can go on into the early hours, is close by & can cause some noise disturbance, although we did not find this to be too much of a problem. Games room & computers are available & WIFI access was limited to 45 mins. Spa area is small but adequate with x2 sauna cabins, x2 steam rooms & x2 small jacuzzis. You do have to walk to the hotel from the bus station & vice versa on return but this is a short 5 min walk & luggage is transported for you. A nice hotel overall which I would revisit but consider B&B only, as there are numerous restaurants close by offerring a variety of reasonably priced food.

“Nice hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We stayed as a large group of 18. 15th January 2012
Nice hotel, rooms a little dark & very hot but window opened nice and wide which cooled things down. Breakfast a little disappointing & dinner repetitive. Food cooked on grill tended to be under cooked & had to be returned more than once.
Hotel is in a great spot Very near to slopes & bars etc
Have stayed in Pas before, even though meals were disappointing due to location will probably be back 2013
Booked with Inghams who offer a complete package inc passes skis lunch voucher for on mountain, Font is exclusive to Inghams, rep was very attentive & helpful.

“Superb hotel”

Went to this hotel 8th-14th January for skiing, there were two couples in our group, all the staff were friendly & helpfull, rooms spotless, good choice of food, and i would say about 50 mtrs from the slopes & ski school meeting place, heated ski locker in the basement with own locker for each room & easy access to the street in your ski gear, the walk to the nursury green slopes was a bit of a walk uphill but once you got there it was downhill all the way back! Blues & reds chairlifts right on the doorstep. We went with Nielson & I must say the rep was very good. Great spa facilities in the hotel one of our group used them everyday. Overall a great hotel & resort which we would use again & would recommend to anyone

“Simply amazing hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 May 2011

We stayed with a group in March 2011 including small children. We arrived in resort after a 3 hour coach journey( which didn't seem that long!) and were dropped off at the main bus top our bags, skis etc were taken to the hotel in a van...was a fair walk uphill but may have just been the triedness and altitude!! Fast check in with very friendly staff and found our rooms were all on the top floor with stunning views over Pas. They were very clean and tidy and very spacious evan with suitcases and skis and buggy!

After an early night the buffet breakfast was just prefect to start the day...too much to choose from! the orange juice was the best I have ever had! after this we were given a private locker in the basement which was a heated room with lockers and boot holder with an access to the rear making it quicker to walk to the slopes!! ( not that it was far) The skiing was amazing evan if we had a fair amount of snow but great for all abilities the only downside was the walk to the younger children to the nursery slopes!

The apres ski in Pas is legendry but if you just want to chill out the hotel has jaccuzi etc and we never had to wait etc as we used them after the evening meal 9pm..there are plenty of bars but we didnt experience much noise as long as you keep your window shut!

One downside to andorra is smoking and if your a non smoker or with children then this can be an issue but we found Pas83 smoke free!! ( also one at bottom of slopes the upstairs is non smoking!!)

Cant wait to go back again great resort, hotel and would recommend to anyone
