I stayed here with a friend at the end of February / start of March for a week; we were both really impressed with this hotel as we booked to go only 10 days before without paying much attention to reviews.
If you are staying in Pas for the skiing and nightlife this hotel is in a great location for both, only a 50m walk uphill to the slopes and only a 50m walk downhill to the nearest bar (Milwaukee's) which had a great atmosphere and plenty of entertainment on throughout the week.
The food in the hotel was way past our expectations with a large choice of buffet breakfast every morning including most of the full engilsh essentials and a good buffet in the evening which had food to cater for all plus 3 mains to choose from each night; if you are staying at this hotel it is well worth getting the half board option.
The rooms were basic but cleaned daily with new towels and the same goes for the bathrooms which had powerful showers and hot water at all times.
I had heard from other reviews you can hear people on the street late at night but we were on the back of the hotel and had no problem sleeping after a few ourselves anyway.
The hotel also has a decent bar which is half the price of the other bars in the area and worth having a few in before heading out, met a few other English groups there in mixed age ranges who all had similar views.

We went in Jan 2011 a party of 6 skier's from 23 to 73 years of age, after reading the reviews we were all a bit unsure about what we had booked, but with an open mind staying in a 3 star hotel it was very good, rooms was smallish but up to 3 star, food was very good no complants, the only think was at night the noise was a bit much. it's close enough to the slops that you don't need to hire a locker and you can get on the sonw in 4 mins walk, would recomend it.

stayed here with a group of friends hotel OK but evening meal could be better, although multi choice food was often serve only luke warm and on several occasions we requested the buffet heaters be turned on for the starters. Worst thing was I had clothing stolen from my room, this may have not been the maid but they do leave doors open during day when cleaning so you have been warned, location is good , short walk up hill then cut down by olympic apts and you are on the slopes 5 min max. Good bar at bottom of slopes . look for the wiggy guys ... happy hour 5 - 6 ,3.5 euro for 2x beers with bowl of fries !.... Good skiing .... enjoy. neilson reps ... great .. thanks... Rooms are basic but standard for a ski hotel. Bathroom small and in need of re-decorating but had full-size bath with overhead shower and plenty of hot water whatever time of day. The old central heating system was very noisy, even though we turned it off in our room, because the pipes ran along the wall and made a lot of noise as they expanded and contracted at 6am. Also some noise from the street and other guests in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, sausage, cold meats, croissants, cereal, fresh fruit, muffins, etc. Evening meal was a buffet starter and dessert, again with plenty of choice, and main course a choice of two meat dishes or a fish dish which were tasty but always a little too well done. Reasonably priced wine list. Helpful waiters, friendly receptionist and all of the staff were eager to please. Would definitely stay again but will take earplugs next time!
