This amazing hotel, 100 meters away from the slopes, has everything it is needed for a low price. Don't get confused or scared by the 2 stars class. The people are amazing (do everything they can to make you feel confortable), you get to the slopes in a 1 minute walking after getting out of hotel's door, there are 2 supermarkets in a radius of 20 meters (plus one more about 50 meters away) and the big Olympia store just across the street (and 20 meters to the side). When you get to the rooms, they're small, but you get a clean bed and WC, with towels changed everyday. What do you need more? You get to the slopes in the morning and come back for a bath, some shopping or beer (outside the hotel) and get there for dinner (if you want) or for a good night sleep. Have I mencioned the nice breakfast? (No, not a 5 star hotel breakfast... but have you seen how much you're paying for it?)

The Hotel Confort is a great hotel for a 2*. Don't be put off that it has big neon signs outside and is above a watch shop as it’s in a good location, a few minutes walk from the slopes. Inside, the rooms are a nice size and have everything that you would expect including very powerful showers which are great after a hard days skiing. The rooms are cleaned, beds made and fresh towels are provided daily. There are lockable storage cupboards, one per room, in the basement for all your ski equipment. The staff are friendly and the service is good. Although do watch out for your plate being whipped away before you have finished eating!

The only complaint is the food. Breakfast and dinner was included as part of our package and whilst the continental breakfast was great the dinner let it down. Dinner was a 3 course set menu each day. It consisted of 2 different starters, 2 different main meals and the dessert of the day each day. The main course was very disappointing. The choice was either fish or meat. There was no vegetarian option. Most of the fish had so many bones in that it was nearly impossible to eat and the meat dishes were very dry. All meals were served with chips regardless of what was described on the menu...and if you are expecting a nice dessert then think again. Dessert was something served in the pot it was bought in from the shop over the road. All in all, dinner was always very disappointing.

Overall, I would recommend staying in the Hotel Confort as it is a very comfortable, clean hotel not too far from the slopes but would advise not taking the dinner option.
