I travel for business trips and I spent 3 to 4 nights per Month. I always select Hilton Brand. I tried Howard Johnson and I was surprised by their Service, Room Cleaness and Quality. My stay was excellent.

I always stay with Hampton or Holiday Inn Express but I tried Howard Johnson and i was
surprised. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Staff was very friendly.I can not expect more than what I paid for.

Each time we have stayed at this hotel is was like coming home. July was very hot and the drive was long but when we opened the door the room was cool and the bedspread wasso welcoming I just stood and stared. I felt at home. Even though we were in a smoking room it still smelled good. The service staff is friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

Outdated furnishing and bedding. Stained sink counter tops. Flat sheet on mattress that wouldn't stay on mattress. Mattress very uncomfortable. Musty, strange smell in room. Dirty shower. Molded place on bathroom wall. Very noisy (they were painting the outside of the building and we came out to a ladder right outside our door and right next to our car.) Not much offered for breakfast at all (apples and a few bagels). Pool area very dark. I will say that the girl that checked us in was very nice.
