“Quiet, Clean, and Economical”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2010

This motel is excellent for its class. The room was spacious and squeaky clean, furnished with a microwave and small fridge. Plenty of towels were provided and the TV had many cable offerings. The continental breakfast was minimal but adequate, with cereals, donuts, English muffins, coffee, and juice. The staff was pleasant and efficient, and rooms are available for check-in at 1 p.m., not the usual 3 p.m. A perfect overnight stop for budget travelers about midway between Little Rock and Memphis on I-40

“Rainbows of happiness for us”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 March 2010

It had been a rainy day that spilled over into the evening shadows. Heading home was a great consolation. We were bringing our daughter home from Nashville after four expensive years in college. I needed a financial windfall. I found it here. The overly plump lady who checked us in was a bowlful of fun that helped us relax after six hours of stiffly bored bodies in a Saturn. The use of a shower with a good head was a blessing that always tops my list of "have to haves." While Brinkley isn't known for its restaurants or nightlife, the TV in the room could get Little Rock and I bet on a better night Houston and Dallas. Now that's living!

The owner tried to upcharge me on my room but luckily he forgot by check out time. This is the kind of break on the road that makes traveling such a dream. Hanging up my clothes on the sturdy hangers (that, fortunately, can't be stolen) gave me a sense of comfort and security that allowed me to revel in the 15 by 22 foot room. A suite, no, but then all the rooms are the same size. That's fair and I like it! We had a king size bed and I need that. So does my wife because my snoring doesn't sound as loud at that farther distance. It's these little things in life that make it all worthwhile. If God was a hotel builder, he would have stopped after he finished his work in Brinkley, Arkansas. This world seems to revolve around instant gratification and entitlement for any and every thing. When you stay at this place, you'll have extra money to do other things like eating and buying hotel rooms in other towns.
