We were booked there for my brother's wedding, and I was hesitant about it especially given the extremely low price. As a family with a teen and a pre-teen, we stayed in a room with two double beds. Having never stayed at a Sleep Inn, I was a bit surprised to find a shower only instead of a bathtub setup in the bathroom. I'm the type who likes a relaxing soak in a bath, but this was not a problem. The ample water pressure, steady hot water supply, and roomy space inside the shower won me over. I loved it.
The room was well organized. We had more than enough closet and storage space for our weekend stay considering that we brought attire for four for the rehearsal, the wedding, the reception, and for shopping, leisure, and appointments between events.
The cookies at check-in counter were very good. The deluxe continental breakfast was over the top. The pancakes were good and they had peanut butter available for those who like that particular treat. The toasted bagels were perfect. While we weren't from that area, we were delighted to read the local newspaper that was delivered to our room while we drank coffee.
While it was too cold to swim, the pool looked clean. The were only a few downsides. The outside door closest to our room did not work with the keycard although they told us that it had been recently fixed. Also, they do not have a fitness center in the hotel, but you can use the one at the nextdoor Clarion hotel.
All considered, I have to say that this hotel gave me the most bang for my buck. It covered all of my basic needs while not nickle and diming me to death. Parking space is ample and it is convenient to many local sights. I will definitely be staying there again! My brother made a very good choice in booking us as well as the rest of our family there.
