Had a very mediocre stay. Front desk was unfriendly. Our room was half updated and half 1980s. The room smelled like smoke, the elevator smelled like smoke. The ample breakfast was the one positive thing. We won't bother staying here again. The Comfort Inn on Fortuna just east of town was much better.

We stayed one week at the Clarion suites, had stayed there overnight earlier inthe year. Large two room suite with a door to separate the two rooms, a tv in each room, fridge and microwave, bar sink separate from the toilet and shower. Appears the Clarion was renovated a few years ago, here andthere the room showed a bit of wear, but not so much. Bed was comfortable, sofa in the other room with desk and bar type sink. Inclusive breakfast included hot food, several choices. Pool area well maintained, and for $80, this is a bargain.

Nice, comfortable hotel, at a reasonable price. Good variety complimentary hot breakfast. Exercise room with two treadmills, elliptical machine, weights, and two tvs. Social hour serves beer and wine, but no soft drinks. That was the only draw back for me. Beds are okay. Linens are clean and in good shape. Hotel is also located close enough to the mall (about 3 miles) to take advantage of shopping and dining without all the related congestion. Only complaint, I had a lot of noise late one night from guests slamming the entry gate repeated times. This isn't really the hotel's fault, but maybe they could put hydraulics on the gates so they would close gently. I recommend requesting a room away from the entry gates.

This is a great place at a great price. Comfortable and clean. Problems and concerns were addressed swiftly. We had issues with a TV remote and needed more pillows. A better than average breakfast for the all inclusive price we paid. About $80 for a roomy two room suite with breakfast for 4.
