I really enjoyed our stay at La Fuente. The pool is really nice and clean, as are the rooms. My Mom slept on the sofa-bed, giving me the king bed in the suite. However, she said the mattress on the sofabed was thin and hard to sleep on. Other than that, we were really happy with the room. Front desk staff were really helpful. Happy hour drinks seemed light on the alcohol, but free drinks are always great! Breakfast was good & even included sausages and hash browns!

We needed a pet-friendly hotel in Yuma for one night, which is a little harder than it sounds when you have a large dog and are on a budget. We booked on their website a day ahead, but were confused by the "No Pets" listed on the site after we chose the rooms. So we called the front desk and they said to just ignore it, they are pet friendly. We were given a decent-sized room on the first floor, which opens to the nice inside grounds, aka GRASS. Very convenient for the dog. The facility is older, but very clean and our room came with a mini-fridge and microwave. There is free breakfast in the main room. The staff was very friendly during check-in and check-out.

Spent a few nights here during Christmas break with my husband and his parents (they were, of course, in another room) and enjoyed it very much. Very quiet, clean and conveniently located (to restaurants, shopping, movie theater...all w/in walking distance). Very nice grounds (orange and lemon trees abundant w/ their respective fruit), good amenities (complimentary breakfast w/ sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits, cereal, etc., good-sized pool, hot tub, BBQ area (even saw people using it!) and complimentary happy hour every night. No complaints here!

Our stay here was for Thursday-Sunday, and it was lovely! My hsband and his sister and I were looking for warmth (we're from the Seattle area), and we certainly found it in Yuma. The property is nicely maintained, the staff is friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the pool was very nice. It is surprisingly quiet for being right off the freeway. Easy access, near just about everything. No restaurant on site, but plenty within walking distance, we liked Penny's Diner just behind, and there is a Denny's next door and Olive Garden across the street. The breakfast was the typical continental style. Our only complaint was that our room smelled like smoke even though it was non-smoking. Why do places put smoking rooms on the first floor? It comes right up through the ceiling! My sister-in-law had a non-smoking room below her and didn't smell anything. All the rooms face a nicely landscaped courtyard, which is probably why it is quiet. There are citrus trees, and some of the fruit was getting ripe, for a nice bunus! We would definitely stay here again, even so. It's a great value.
