Like most Econolodges, these motels are budget accommodations. But this motel was very nice I thought. It looks pretty boring and non-descript from the outside but the room that I had was spacious and comfortable. There were no problem in my visit at all. One note, however: I got a room facing away from Interstate 40 and the room was quiet. If you get a room on the other side of the motel it may be a lot noisier.

The staff was very friendly and the manager offered an excellent rate since I was in town on business. The room was clean had a table and during the middle of my stay found my TV switched out to a flat screen. An earlier post called the area seedy or something, but the area is well developed with all the amenities you need. Only complaint was the poor wifi connection.

This is a typical Econo Lodge except for the empty lot next door, dusty conditions and cold, cold pool. Staff was nice and room was clean and roomy. We expected more from Winslow, Arizona but was pretty disappointed. We did some traveling around to the Hopi Reservation and that was spectacular. It did have WiFi. However, there is not much to pick from in this town so I guess it wasn't that bad for just passing through.

I read the reviews. There isn't much to choose from in Winslow. This one was right along the on-ramp to the freeway. I thought it might be noisy, but fortunately, it wasn't.
Your typical economy type room, seemed to be clean enough. But, the area seemed to be getting seedy. The parking area was littered, and there is a big, empty lot next door, may have been a K-Mart or some such.
The coninental breakfast was pretty spare. No cereal, and I had to go next door to a coffee shop for milk, for cereal I had brought. No hairdryer and when I asked, the maid said no, they don't have them. I had one in the car, so went out to get it. Guess one needs to carry one, if staying in budget motels!
No big complaints, nor big accolades, just a basic motel at a decent price. Truly just average in every way!
