“Facilities okay, business services awful!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2011

We called to stay at Quality Inn and they assured us there was room and quoted us the AAA price. When we arrived the computer was out and the desk clerk had spent 2 hours turning people away. My husband offered to see if he could fix it and the clerk was agreeable. After spending a few minutes, my husband got the computers back on line and the clerk was very grateful. We were told she would do the paperwork the next morning on our check out. However, the next morning after waiting 15 minutes in line (computers froze and would only run slowly) we were told it would not accept the AAA discount and she would email us the bill. We were billed 3 different times for 3 different amounts! The facilities were acceptable--it used to be a Marriott but was run down. The bathtub was painted on the bottom ?! It was quiet and the room was very clean which was a big plus. The breakfast was standard--acceptable. It is a okay place to stay but watch your bill!

Room Tip: Best rooms on north-east side.

“Ok room for the price, very nice staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 April 2011

They were just changing from Fairfield Inn to Quality Inn so I cut them some slack. The room was clean and basic. Nothing special. Some of the non-chain hotels in Williams were either disgusting or sold-out so not much choice. The staff was very nice and let me park my car there for a week as we went to the canyons with my family in their car. It's a very safe place to park as it's outside the city. BTW being outside the city was fine, the center is a 2 minute drive and there was ample parking. Overall there isn't much choice in this price range and I think this is one of the better choices.

“Old, Yuck, and No Service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 March 2011

Room was not clean, floors need to be vacuumed, bathroom was disgusting they put some make shift enamel or something in the bathroom. Towels were fraying. There is no microwave or fridge for the price. My husband had to wait about 10 minutes before someone even showed up to the front desk then when she got there she told my husband to wait while she went to go fix a TV. I had kids in the car and it was snowing and below freezing outside. We weren't sure if we were even gonna get a room since it took forever for someone to show up and there was snow piling up outside we just couldn't go to another hotel. Not worth it for the price:(

“Good hotel for Williams, AZ but below average for a Fairfield Inn”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2010

The hotel is fairly clean and better than the average hotel in Williams, but it is not run like your typical Fairfield Inn. There was no remote in the room, so the front desk had to bring me one. When my mother called to get one for her room they were out. The TVs had to "warm up" for 15 minutes to work good. Supposedly they have new TVs coming soon. The breakfast was decent and they always had hot coffee available for guests.

If would stay again as long as the rate is good, but would love it if they updated a few things and hired more professional staff. The hotel is better than the typical Motel 6 style places you'll find in Williams and it is a quick couple minute drive to restaurants and the train station.

“Descent night's stay before Grand Canyon”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2010

The hotel is relatively nice. It's a descent "side of the interstate" hotel that was clean. It's not right in town, but is right off the interstate. No frills, just nice. One gripe was that there were no remote controls for the TV's. When I called and asked the front desk, they said that replacements had been ordered. This is too far to stay if you're visiting the Grand Canyon, but we used it as the night before staying at El Tovar. There are other alternatives in town including a Holiday Inn Express and a Hampton Inn. Both looked nice as well.
