“Cozy room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

We stayed here after a day at Grand Canyon National Park. The price was very reasonable. This is an older motel with small rooms, but with a very comfortable queen sized bed. The room was cozy and quiet and we slept well. The Direct TV satellite remote was clunky and hard to use, but we did get free movies. Overall a very nice stay at a good price.

The travelodge was perfect for us, we stayed 2 nights and while visiting the grand canyon. price was right. Everything we needed fro a good night rest and ahot shower.

Room Tip: ask for a room away from others as the walls are a bit thin

“Food take out container under the bed!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

The room was small, the liens were not changed when we got there, the crumbs on the sheets gave it way and also found an old takeout food container under the bed! This was the only room available in town plus it was loud.

“Old and tired”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

We stayed 2 nights in early Nov 2011 in a room on the upper floor. The lady who checked us in was not helpful at all. We had to carry our heacy suitcases up some carpeted stairs(no lift/elevator) where ther carpet was worn away.

It looked very tired, but did hasve potential. It was cold the first night and when we asked for a blanket to be delivered, we were told we had to come down to reception to get it. Second night we had 12 inches of snow and it was fun getting out.

The king bed was not comfortable at all, great shower tho

The lady in reception recommended to dine over the road at a place I think was called Diners. Well it was the worst food we have tasted and would no recommend it to our dog.

Found a great place down the road called Crusier's Cafe 66, had a terrific meal and a nice bottle of wine, plus a free local stout.

Breakfast, the place to eat is Pine Country Rest, in Willams

The free breakfast that this Travelodge puts on, is not worth eating, its very plain and simple

All and all we enjoyed our stay in Williams

“A good stop for a stop over”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

We went to the Grand Canyon and left around 6:00 pm. Williams is about an hour away from the park entrance on the way back to Las Vegas.

There are a few hotels/motels in Williams. We choose this for:
(1) Location - close by the highway and away from the 'down town'
(2) Price - we have a walk-in price of $60 for a double queen room.
(3) Room - we check the room and it has very good beds and clean bathroom

The only thing that they can improve:
Get a better ventilation over the breakfast room. We can smell the burning oil from the waffle maker from our second floor room. I think a ground floor room may be better for this.

p.s. it also has a pool and a whirl pool, a good way to relax after a long day at the park

Room Tip: Ground floor room and/or away from the breakfast room.
