We stayed here two years ago while visiting the Grand Canyon, and a couple of weeks ago were delighted to find that it was at exactly the right spot for an overnight on our high-speed marathon from Maine to Palm Springs. It's just off I-40, but high enough on the hillside that there's absolutely no highway noise. The entrance drive is imposing enough for a high-end resort, and the facilities live up to that expectation. The lobby, adjoining lounge and dining room are all elegant, and the front desk attendant was welcoming and helpful. Our room, a king double, was spacious, immaculate and beautifully furnished.

After a quick clean-up, we headed for the dining room, where we found an appealing menu and a short but intelligent wine list. One of us had the French onion soup and a spinach, dried cranberry and walnut salad, and the the other the house salad and the grilled mountain trout - all outstanding. We also much enjoyed the local singer-guitarist, who played traditional standards and took requests.

After that, we enjoyed some time by ourselves in the romantic outdoor hot tub before heading back to our room for our first non-passenger-seat sleep in over 2000 miles!

The front desk staff was pleasant and our room was ready when we arrived. Staff at the restaurant was very friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of hot and cold items. The pool area was clean and very nice. Conveniently located near the highway but a little too far from « downtown » to catch the Route 66 spirit. A little expensive compare to similar hotels we stayed during our trip in Arizona. Will come back.

We stayed one night at this property while we traveled up to Williams for the Polar Express Train. The hotel was nice, there is a nice lobby area with a bar and live music on selected nights. There is a nice outdoor patio with a gas fire pit to enjoy. They have complimentary breakfast with limited selection (we ate at the Denny's adjacent to the hotel). If you stay during the winter, there were a lot of areas right out in the parking lot with hills of snow to play on. I also noticed a small gift shop on the property and a nice pool/hot tub. The rooms were really basic. They still have the HUGE box TV's. They would save a lot of space in the room if they went to flat screens. There was a little mini-fridge in our room, too. This property appeared to be the nicest out of all the other basic hotels in Williams. It's a really short drive to where the Polar Express was and the little town of Williams (maybe 2 minutes). I encountered issues with my final bill due to the front desk staff not being aware or properly trained on charging/refunding credit cards and their rate policies. Other than that, the staff was friendly and great!

We recently stayed at this hotel to ride the Polar Express. The hotel is conveniently located (about 1/2 mile) from the train depot and the center of town.
The hotel had a great lobby bar, entertainment until 10pm, and a fantastic continental breakfast (not your typical toast and butter, they had lots to choose from). We did not eat at the restaurant for dinner but they were advertising a nice prime rib special for a decent price. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Outside on the patio they had a nice fire pit to sit by.
The room was nice and clean and offered the standard hotel amenities. The TV had a bunch of channels and on-demand movies.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Polar Express as a great place to stay with your kids. There was lots of snow to play in around the hotel, which the kids loved. There were lots of families and kids staying at the hotel so you don't have worry about annoying all the other guests.
