On a recent trip to the Grand Canyon we decided to stay in Williams, about an hour south for a little local color. It was an unexpectedly chilly and rainy day and we had already been traveling for many hours. We arrived at the inn earlier than the official check in time, but we were still received warmly. The house had everything you might need to enjoy the stay,even on a raw day. The host was pleasant and informative and treated us to a generous and beautifully presented breakfast. We would definetly recommend this as a nice option when visiting instead of the cookie cutter hotels closer to the South Rim.

On the way to the Grand Canyon, we stayed overnight at the Sheridan House Inn, KC the innkeeper could not have been more gracious and friendly. Snacks and beverages were readily available to us throughout our short stay. The town of Williams keeps the Route 66 history alive, In addition, if interested, one can take the train to the Grand Canyon.
We had dinner at Cruisers Cafe 66 where we ate outside enjoying the singing and guitar playing.
Our room was large and comfortable. Since we were leaving early to drive to the Grand Canyon, KC had a wonderful breakfast ready on our time. A stay at the Sheridan House Inn and Williams is worth it even if it is out of your way.

The Sheridan House Inn is a great place to base yourself for a Grand Canyon visit. The Inn is a short distance off Route 66 which has some good places for the evening. The house is lovely, surrounded by trees with a large open porch & plenty of seating. We stopped there after Vegas & couldn't have chosen a better place as an antidote. We had a lovely room, quiet & peaceful, nicely appointed & stocked with little Hershey bars! There were lots of other nice touches too which contributed to make this accommodation a stand out in our 3 week trip. Service was excellent, breakfast was perfect and set us up well for the day. You really couldn't do much better than stay here if going to the South Rim.

This is a family run bed and breakfast which we could not find fault with and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Grand Canyon. It is about a 50 minute drive from the canyon itself, but Williams was great to visit with lots of great diners. The bed and breakfast rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was brilliant and with free access to soft drinks for guests 24 hours a day, a games room with pool table we felt very well looked after. Our hosts were very friendly and always made sure we took enough water with us on our journeys. could not fault it!
