“Great stay with shuttles to the GC railroad”

Very clean, paved, excellent WiFi. Has a shuttle that picks you up and returns you to your camper. Shuttles go to the Pub, Hotel, and the railroad. When you check in you can reserve your tickets for the 65 mile train ride to the Canyon. The train takes 2 1/4 hours and then you have a 3+ hours to tour. We went to the Pub two night as had drinks and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. All in all it was a great experience. Only word to note: even if your levelers have a large pad, you must put boards under them. But the lady at the check-in gladly supplied us with 4 10x10 plywood boards.
Oh and an added point...For when you take the all day tour of the Canyon, they have Kennels for your pets!

“Very Clean!”

Great Place to stay if you are planning a trip to the GC and need to park your RV and board your pets! However... Don't plan to take the train for a day trip, you will NOT have enough time at the Grand Canyon. The train takes WAY too long there and back and you only get THREE hours at the Grand Canyon. The RV park is awesome! Very clean, quiet, restaurants nearby. Staff is friendly. Store is nice. Pet "resort" is great.

“Clean, modern & convenient RV park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2010

We're moving to Flagstaff this fall for my spouse's career, and decided to take the family out for a 5 day visit to scope the town, visit schools and try to find a rental home. Since we rented an RV, we decided to stay in Williams because of recommendations from family and friends who have visited the GCR RV Park in the past.

We were not disappointed. There's a clean play area for the kids, a pool at the adjoining hotel, extremely clean facilities (BBQ area, laundry, showers, etc) and even WiFi (although the signal is extremely weak, and we were parked right next to the wireless router I was told). It's also within a brief walk to downtown Williams, the supermarket, and an old-style Dairy Queen!

As of June, 2010 there are picnic tables at each campsite, but BBQ's are only found in the main picnic area. BBQ's are operated by gas, so no need for charcoal or wood. There are power outlets in the BBQ area as well, so you can bring a blender, etc and mix drinks, too!

I always like to see pictures when I read reviews, and since few have been included before, I'm attaching several to this review. Hope it helps.
