“Frumpy dusty room with rock hard beds will not make you happy..”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011 via mobile

The B & B is very deceiving, it looks very inviting but the room was horrible. The bed felt like a box spring mattress. I was awake all night due to the 3 exterior porch lights illuminating the room, christmas music piped in until about 3:00 am and a rock hard bed. I would not recommend staying here. The linens were threadbare and felt dirty.

“So so.....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2011

Well, although it needs a paint job, a wallpaper job and a carpet job, the beds are ok. The continental breakfast might be ok for the kids but you will be hungry in 2 hours. Located in the heart of town where all the restaurants are, you will definitely hear the train come by at 5 am and honk his toot about 5 times (depending on the engineer on board). But if you are here during the xmas holidays (Thanksgiving to January), be prepared to hear the xmas music from the railroad station - crazy. It was still blasting at 1:33 a.m. when I finally fell asleep with two pillows on my ear. I heard that staying at the Railroad Station Inn is better.

Room Tip: We chose the biggest room with two beds located on the second floor. The space was good, private bat...

“A Dump!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

Very deceiving pictures on the net... this place was a dump! Perhaps some travelers don't mind the dirt, noise from Rt 66 and overall smell then this is the place for you. Check out the Comfort Inn up the road for the same amount of money - at least it was clean. Canyon Country Inn falsely 'advertises' themselves.

Room Tip: Don't stay here!

“Enjoyable place with a unique feel to it.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

The room was relatively small, but i enjoyed it nonetheless. It felt like being in a cabin almost. There are some rules to the place like only showering during certain hours which sucks for us night owls, but the town pretty much shuts down after 9 anyway. The morning breakfast is enough to carry you to lunch comfortably.

The only downside is the price. Its gone up steadily over the years to the point that weve recently began using other hotels to save money. The experience and location are pluses, but theyre not worth $30 a night.

“not really a review”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2011

would like to have reviewd this place but tried to book by emailing(twice). Phoning twice - once unanswered, once left a message on voice mail. No replies at any times. Thought the place looked nice on the website, but if you don,t reply you can,t be too bothered about customer service
