“A great price comes with great sacrifices”

I rented a tent site. the site itself was clean and tent friendly... but there is not one ounce of privacy. given there were few other campers this time of year, it didn't bother me much. what really got my goat was the noise level. as if the proximity to the interstate wasn't bad enough with semi trucks engine breaking... there is a train that goes through blowing it's whistle at least 3 times a night. And the crem de la crem was a low flying helicopter! Needless to say I won't ever visit this site again with a tent in hand.

“Nice, Expensive, No Cable TV, Very Noisy (Freeway)”

Traveling for a couple of weeks 3500 Miles several RV Parks (Motorhome) this is the most expensive place we've stayed
@$44/Night (With AAA discount). No TV Cable.(Every other park had cable hookups)
Very Clean, Nice trees, Noisy freeway close by.
Staff is superb !
Won't come back due to proximity to the noisy freeway and the price.

“It was nice”

My Spouse and I have only been married for a few months...wanted to try camping and this was a good "first time campers" trip. The tent sites were VERY close together, but not too many people around, so that was nice. Due to a wet spring, there were lots of mosquitose :( but they nice person at the front desk lent us their OFF spray. The atmosphere of the campsite was nice - friendly staff, clean sites and nice (but older) facilities). Not for the REAL campers that want more of a "wilderness" feel...but a nice get-away for young couple or small families with little ones. The "idea" of a camp fire sing-along is cute, but when we went to it, it was stupid. They should do more "traditional" camp fire songs...not trying to do a "rock concert"...but rather old songs like "Clementine" or "Davey Crockett". Over all, we had a nice experience.

“This place is awesome.............”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 August 2010

We stayed here for a week. Didnt want to go home. They treat you like family. We had teenagers and one child nine years old. We had a blast riding the bikes, golfing, swimming and horseback riding. If you want a place to go and be able to relax and have fun this is it. Pus the Grand Canyon is close by and Bearizona is totally awesome too. We were all single moms on our trip and never once did we get scared or feel unsafe. Everything was clean and it was the best KOA I have ever stayed at. The pool was clean and well kept. The bathrooms were very clean. Never did they have no toilet paper someone was always checking them and cleaning. I will definaltey go back. Matter of fact I a trying to figure out when in October I will be going back. When its time to go home you dont want to go home. When you get home you are trying to figure out when you can go back.

This was our third visit with Circle Pines KOA and we have always found the staff welcoming and friendly. The facilities are clean and well maintained. What more can you want? Full hookups, Pull Through sites, Clean Showers, Indoor Pool, Cafe, events, Weekend entertainment and even hay rides. Can't wait will we get back again.
