“Solid value, comfy rooms, weak breakfast, missing ESPN!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We recently stayed here and found it quite enjoyable. The rooms had good space to them, comfy bed, closet, large bathroom, tv, fridge and microwave. The negatives would be the lack of a good breakfast offering and lackluster directv channels. The provided list showed espn and fox sports as available channels but we got not subscribed errors when we tried to watch them. Overall i thought the hotel was pretty good. Best price in town. Its not located on route 66 so you will have to drive to the restaurants and shops.

“Nice place, Good Value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

OK, the motel has been around a while but is clean and comfortable and a good value. It had a Microwave and Fridge. The bed was comfortable. Interior rooms, no pull-ups. Wi-Fi Internet worked OK. TV (Direct TV) worked well too. Experience with that type of remote is helpfull. Location is good too between I-40 and downtown. Staff was friendly and helpfull. If you want a fancy place try the Holiday Inn but it is not close to anything and much more $$$. Only complaint was no coffee maker in room but we made do with the Microwave and some coffee from previous stays. If you want a great place to eat try the Pine Country resturant, up the street a few blocks

“Disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

The rooms were very dated, worn, and in need of repairs. The hosts were unfriendly. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

“Comfortable room, good price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

Hotel is reasonably comfortable and well located. A short walk to downtown and several good restaraunts. Room was clean and amenities included a refrigerator and microwave oven. No Pool and the contonental breakfast was minimal. However, there was a McDonalds across the street which provided a reasonable and hot breakfast. There was also a KFC and Taco Bell next door if so inclined. Accomadations in this town are not typically luxurious, and this one compares well if you do not care about the pool

“Cheap but old”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

Hotel looked outdated, room showed signs of aging and the staff wasn't too friendly either.
