When I travel I try to expend enough time in order to look for best option (service & cost) and that's what I did when I went for a leisure weekend over the Grand Cayon National Park. After reading TA reviews as well check hotel web pages, believe me: This is the best option when you just need an clean, quite & good cost place to sleep.

There is no luxury in this place (come on its a motel 6!!!), but you really get added value when comparing other options. Staying in Tusayan will cost you more than $150 Night, and it is not worh the money. You just have to drive 40 min to/from Grand Canyon to the lovely city of Williams. We paid around $65.00 USD per 2 adults (tax inc.)

Check in was smooth (Luis at the front desk was really nice eventhough it was almost midnight). Complimentary WI-FI worked pefectly fine. Room was big enough with two queen beds (they do not offer rooms with only one bed) and CLEAN... of course you see forniture is a little "old fashion" but everything worked well. It is NOT far from the action, you could easly walk everywhere. I did not hear any noise and we had a really pleasent night after hikking over the Grand Cayon.

There are excellents options for dining in Willims. We tried Cafe 66 with a very good steak and ice cream for dessert (excellent service from our waitress) and Pine Tree Restaurant for breakfast (lack of service but still good).

There is a Safeway grocery Store just few steps away from the Hotel where you can buy everything that you need for your excursion to the MAGNIFICENT Grand Canyon National Park.

Receptionist was very helpful. Very big rooms, everything was clean. Beakfast was pityful, only tea and coffee nothing else, not even water. Hotel was good enought of the one night. Also had indoor pool. Good Wi-fi. Really liked Williams the town.

My partner and I (two adults) stayed in the hotel overnight before heading out on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. This was one of the most disgusting places I have ever stayed at. I'm not saying not nice, I'm saying disgusting. Here is what I liked and disliked.

1) For my first review I really don't have anything good to say.

1) The room was disgusting. There were stains all over the carpet that made me feel like I needed to keep my shoes on and walk around them.
2) There are no amenities but soap. No hairdryer. No Shampoo or conditioner.
3) It does have an indoor pool and hot tub. Because our room was not properly cleaned and taken care of I was too afraid to go into either of them and I actually booked the hotel because it had an indoor pool.
4) The front desk staff was not pleasant
5) The sheets and comforters were the worst at any hotel I have ever stayed at. The comforters actually had the Motel 6 logo on them so clearly they went for the bare minimum .
6) We were put in a room above the pool. The paint in the room was discolored and looked like it was just continously covered over and water stains covered up from condensation from the pool.

I could go on. Ultimately, the hotel and even more disappointingly our room was disgusting. If we end up with an insect infestation after staying I know it will be from there.

You have been warned...

I stayed here one night in September before going for to the Grand Canyon. With a coupon, my bill was about $50. This place was excellent for that price. The check in and out was very fast, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the wifi was free and worked. You can walk to many of the resturuants from here.

The place isn't perfect nor for everyone. The interior is nothing fancy, the tub creacked everytime I walked on it, no alarm clock/radio, no shampoo, no LCD tv (just picture tube), no free breakfast. But for $50, that is fine with me.

If you just want a clean quiet place to stay for a good price, this is a good spot for you.
