We ventured here for relaxation, fun, surf, adventure and a bit of away time, and definitely got it all and then some wrapped in a beautiful elegan "treehouse" . From long before we even got to the airport, John, Ana and Jorge (the owners) wanted to ensure our trip would be fantastic and sent suggestions and options that were all anyone could ask for (yet it was helpful and not pushy or annoying at all). Anything from massages, chef service, airport pickup and adventure were easily within reach. We went there with four other couples (all friends) and will definitely be looking to return. Aside from all of the pre-trip arrangements available, anything we wanted to do was easily within our reach once we arrived. The house was beautiful, we cooked in a different kitchen every night just because we could! The bathrooms were beautiful, the grounds fantastic, and the views (including the toucans and monkeys) were amazing and the service and comfort was unparalleled. Definitely recommended if you get the opportunity! I know - I sound like an ad, but honestly, FANTASTIC! All around! My only tiny drawback would possibly be that it was a bit of an unfinished path/hike to the beach, but the pool and house were so beautiful, I hardly noticed...and of course, for those who just can't leave it all behind, there was wifi...I logged on the first day....

We recently returned from our stay at Casa Ramon in Dominical and cannot wait to return! The hosts, John and Jorge, along with their warm and welcoming staff, made us feel immediately at home. The property is immaculately maintained with a spectacular pool and jacuzzi. We greatly enjoyed our mornings on the veranda eating breakfast and watching the toucans fly overhead. The views of the ocean and Costa Rican jungle are gorgeous at every time of day - sunrise to sunset. This home is the perfect getaway for couples looking for a romantic vacation and also for families wanting to reunite in paradise. Centrally located in the area of Dominical - close to great surf spots, restaurants, and hiking trails. The perfect combination of relaxation, comfort, and luxury. We loved Casa Ramon so much that we are holding our wedding there in 2011. If only we could spend every day in paradise!!

I booked this Villa for a week in March for 8 adults and 8 children. When we arrived the caretakers Carlos and Anna were so nice and so excited about showing us the amenities the house had to offer. From the fresh flower arrangements all over the house to the beautiful fresh fruit baskets. We had such a nice welcome. We all were very comfortable here with our sleeping arrangements and were able to have our own space when needed.
We hired a local chef to cook dinners for us and he was amazing. I really recommend his services. The gardens are amazing. We always found some surprise bug, animal or creature every day of our stay, which the kids found fascinating.
We did amazing adventures right from the Villa. Everything is so easy to get to.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful place. We will definitely come back to visit

My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Ramon for 4 nights in early July and after reading the only other review on this property, I wanted to confirm everything that was written about this luxurious home! And personally, I found the staff of Casa Ramon, simply the best. They cared deeply that our stay was comfortable and were completely genuine in their desire to please us including accommodating every request we had related to specific meals, a variety of fresh juices each day (even from fruit we purchased along the road) to being very supportive and helpful as I practiced speaking Spanish during the stay. It is helpful if you speak Spanish, at least a little, but if you don’t, it’s a terrific opportunity to practice and learn.

Another point I’d like to make is that from this property you see views of the ocean, mountains, beautiful Toucans that visit Casa Ramon each day and numerous other birds that are magical – you feel a genuine connection to nature and the beauty of the Dominical and Costa Rica. The property is also ideal for large families, multiple small families or a close group who enjoy sharing parts of each day while having large, separate live and sleeping spaces as well. And it’s quite romantic with large showers, jacuzzi tub, outdoor jacuzzi, huge wrap-around balcony’s, private spa room and extensive outdoor gathering and dining areas.

Finally, the most seasoned traveler who is accustom to 5 Star hotels and/or who lives in a multi-million dollar home will be extremely comfortable at Casa Ramon! Casa Ramon is an amazing, new custom home with extensive granite and marble throughout, as well as special wood floors, air conditioning, great furniture, architectural/design treatments, interesting and wonderful art work as well as quality large/flat screen TVs and wireless internet to ensure that those who are accustom to, and prefer such things, are completely at ease and comfortable. I want to live there!
