My wife actually booked this motel so that ours and several other families could converge on Tombstone for a day. We drove down the night before and were welcomed by the VERY accomodating folks who own/run this splendid little place (I believe they're from "across the pond.")
What you see on the website is exactly what you will get - but the rooms had more! We had mini fridges/microwaves in each room. Some of the rooms had a flat screen in it for a TV (albeit tiny,) but all the rooms had great TV/Cable and even free hi-speed WiFi.
The beds were comfortable, the towels smelled great (no heavy detergent stink to them.) The heat in the room worked AWESOME (almost too well - we had to get up in the middle of the night and turn it down a bit as I think we accidentally set it too high!) Bathrooms and showers were small but very adequate (we certainly didn't run out of hot water!)
In the a.m. we got up and went to the motel office. On a table in front was a simple but VERY yummy continental breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, some packaged pastries, plenty of fruit and coffee/orange juice! There may have been a bit more but I don't remember. ALL the kids enjoyed it (when have you ever known a group of kids numbering 7 all finding something good to eat at once?) Again, it wasn't fancy but it loaded us up in the a.m. and got us on our way/through the a.m. before we needed lunch.
The motel is "maybe" a block or so from the main downtown Tombstone. It took us as a group of several families maybe 5 minutes to walk there?
So while Trail Rider's Inn is not anything fancy, you won't be disappointed in its quality and simplicity. It's definitely clean and when you're looking for a place to stay overnight before a full day of sightseeing? VERY worth it!
I read in other reviews that the walls were thin/you could hear your neighbors? Well, we did hear one of the family's kids to us next door - but they were being really loud/having fun. The walls are block construction (at least ours were,) and not just plywood...so I can't imagine sound would travel that easily through the walls. Maybe through common ceiling vents? - but definitely not through the walls!
I also read that the rooms didn't have an outlet in the bathroom for a hairdryer? ALL of our family's rooms had outlets in the bathrooms and outside in common areas as well. So maybe check with the owners about maybe a particular room or two that have different layouts? But honestly - all our rooms were right next to each other (10,11,12) and they were all very well loaded with all the minor luxuries many of us take for granted!
