My Partner William and I chose the Bordello after reading great reviews on here. We arrived late, and linda was waiting, but cheerful. She gave us a great tour of the place (which is quite nice) and told us some tales about the ghosts which haunt the bordello, as well as the history of how the place came to be located where it is now.
We were in the Diamond Annie room..and the view out the window of the distant mountains was wonderful...especially in the morning.
There were no other guests for our one night stay (the place was going to be booked solid the next night for the annual Rendezvous of Gun Fighters.) So breakfast was for just the two of us. We awoke to tea and coffee, and had a nice sit in the small garden as Linda prepared our breakfast. It was great...just what I wanted. Bacon, eggs (FRESH!) fruit, potatoes...all for the two of us.
Linda was great, she sat down with us and told us all about her and her husband and how they came to own the Bordello. They know the town, inside and out...So ask them if you need recommendations. She recommended Tombstone Walking Tours with Dr. Jay, and even called and confirmed our early morning tour. (it was a winner!)
The pictures of the place on their website are true to what it actually looks like. This is a bed and breakfast in Tombstone...it's perfect for where it is. This isn't a four star hotel with all the trimmings...but its a great down home comfy place to hang your hat, with an owner who's a delight to deal with, and talk to.
We don't have kids...but I think the pool would be fun for the little ones to play in, and the whirlpool would be great to unwind in after a long day touring the town.
Thanks again Linda, you'e really pulled out the stops for us, and made us feel right at home.
PS...William says I made this up...but I did experience a spirit in the Diamond Annie room...honest.
Room Tip: The stairs are steep, so if you have issues getting up steep old time stairs...try a room on the gro...
